WATCH MY VIDEO! Pita is a purebred 4 year old, female Chihuahua. She weighs 3.7 lbs and is considered a “teacup” size. She was rescued from the LA Harbor animal shelter after we saw an adorable picture of her peeking out from her kennel just hoping someone will notice her.
Pita is a friendly, loving affectionate little dog. She is pleasant, easy company and her relaxed nature makes her the type of dog you can take anywhere. She loves to be held and will follow you around the house but is also very content and happy to lounge the day away while you get things done. She is submissive with her person and listens well. Her house manners are wonderful and she likes to use the bathroom outside but will also use a piddle pad if she does not have access. She only barks at appropriate times (doorbell ringing ect) and is an overall quiet dog.
Pita gets along great with other dogs and when she is feeling playful, she will flutter around the other little dogs in an adorable attempt to get them to play with her. Tiny dogs rarely play with body contact. Instead it’s more posturing and prancing. They are too fragile for rough stuff and they know it. Pita loves to cuddle up for end of the day snuggling but when its time to go to sleep for the night, she will sleep in her own bed that sits atop her person’s bed. She enjoys car rides and sits politely in her little doggie car seat. She is just wonderful company. We are looking for a teacup savvy home with no children under 10 years of age.
Pita is spayed, micro-chipped, de-wormed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, including rabies.
