We have another Stunner, this Girl is SKY a gorgeous chocolate Lab/Retriever. Sky weighs in at 61lb she is 19 months old, and has the most wonderful temperament and beautiful features.
Sky is blessed with stunning good looks, gorgeous white teeth, a rich chocolate coat and beautiful soulful amber eyes that just melt your heart

SKY`S story >>>> Its hard to believe that Sky found herself in a Florida kill shelter I cannot think why she would be there. I saw her at the shelter when I was collecting another dog, sky was appearing on the Euthanizing list. The shelters were full and space was needed, so this gorgeous girl found herself fighting for her life. Sky was emaciated under her soft fur coat her ribs and hip bones were showing through. But her look was so captivating. I walked back to my truck sat there for a moment and headed back to the lobby. I just could not get her appealing look out of my mind. I signed Sky out of the shelter and brought her into Lifeline. I didn't have a plan for this beautiful girl she was a last minute couldn't leave her behind dog. From the outset this girl was adorable she was good in the car and nuzzled up to me. I dropped her off at our vet to have a thorough check up. We were unable to spay her at that point due to her weight issue.
On arrival at Lifeline we did our evaluation and we were more than pleased with the outcome. Sky was a happy girl and quickly fit in with all the others. Sky was even happier when we placed her in foster care to start building up her weight. Sky is a happy girl and loved to play with her foster moms cocker spaniel. Sky's first foster mom had to move and so we had to find an alternative foster, Sky enjoys her home she shares with children and just loves attention she is so lovable. She is playful and just loves to be around her family she is a wonderful all round family dog she gets along with other dogs, cats, small & older children. She loves to play Frisbee and adores the water if there is a hose around she is there.
We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for her. A home that will give her stability and security she needs Sky is up to weight and she has just blossomed she is certainly a favorite.
This girl is so lovable she deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she deserves.
Sky will warm to you and just melt your heart. She loves to be around humans and will follow you around, she likes to go for walks, She knows commands sit heel & down, she is energetic, fun and playful. she loves car rides and she is excellent in the car.
Sky does not like to be confined she does not like the crate but she will tolerate it for short periods, so we would prefer an owner that would not crate this girl for long periods. Crating brings on stress At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she just loves to sleep on your bed she loves to be close to her humans a typical Velcro girl. Sky always seems to like the men she has been close to her foster daddies
SKY is housebroken, she will whine or go to the door when she needs to go out to potty. She will come when called. and is at her happiest around humans, its so hard not to fall in love with this girl And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her apart from the fact she does not care for a crate and she will jump on you she does get excited when she sees you we have been working on that and she is much better.
She loves water so she would adore a pool.
Sky is spayed, current on all vaccinations and she is micro.chipped. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Sky a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. Sky is so lovable, and she is so good with children. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Sky will only get better with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Sky She dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end.
A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where she can run and play would be ideal but not essential. She would do well with another dog as a companion, she would make a great playmate.
