My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls...step right up to the SPARKY Show! Okay, okay, I'm not a circus act- but I AM an adorable and fun puppy looking for a fur-ever home of my own! I have quite a big story for a little guy. A few months ago, my former "family" turned me into the pound with a horribly injured eye and broken leg. I would have been euthanized for my injuries if M.A.I.N. hadn't stepped up to help me and get me the vet care I needed. Unfortunately, my eye couldn't be saved but my leg is just fine after time healing in a cast. Don't worry, I get around great with just one eye and really, it only adds to my charm!
Enough of all that sad stuff though- that's all in the past. I'm a real happy guy and love everyone I meet- kids, cats and dogs included! I play great with the other dogs in my foster home and would love to have a doggy friend at home. Foster mom says sometimes I'm a little energetic with the cats, but I can't help it- I just want everyone to be my friend! I have tons of great puppy energy and I'm sure we could do all kinds of fun things together. Maybe you could take me to the dog park or on a walk? I'd love lots of toys at home to keep me entertained; in return, I promise to keep you smiling with my silly antics! Foster mom says to be sure to tell you I'm also a very smart boy. I will let you know if I need to go out potty and am doggy door trained. I'm also crate trained, sleep through the night and know "sit."
