My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Hermione. She is a 20 pound spaniel mix with the most soulful, loving eyes. She was just rescued from a local shelter where they estimate her age to be between 1 and 2 years. A real sweetheart since day one, she has loved everyone she has met. A calm, quiet little girl, she loves to cuddle with her foster family and gets along beautifully with her foster brother, who is about her size, and with her foster sister, who is a petite 8 pounds. She would probably be happiest in a home with another dog. She seems completely house-trained when offered regular opportunities to go outside, and she hasn’t shown any destructive tendencies, so she would not need to be crated. Hermione was so frightened in the shelter that I hope she never has to be in a cage again. She sleeps through the night on an ottoman by the side of her foster parents’ bed. She loves chasing a ball and helping her foster brother chase squirrels in the yard, but, even then, she does not get over-excited or hyper. She walks well on a leash and rides happily in the car. Fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and heartworm-negative, Hermione is ready for her forever home and would love to be the constant companion of her new family.
