My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ADOPT ONLY WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA

Duke is a four year old black and white male with beautiful facial masking. SHRF found this charming fellow at a shelter. He was separated from his owner due to an unfortunate situation … certainly through no fault of Duke’s.

His foster mom describes him as the sweetest dog she has ever had. He has so many good qualities that you will just want to meet him. He is housebroken and not destructive at all. He is crate trained, but does not need it because he has shown he can be trusted when he is on his own.

Duke loves attention and, to prove it, he will be by your side all the time waiting for an opportunity to shower you with kisses. He is a delightful dog that brings joy to anyone who meets him. He is a cheerful people’s boy and also gets along well with other dogs.

He is slim, but he is a big, strong boy who would do well with other dogs about his age and size, however, he may not be the best fit in a home with small children because, in his exuberance, he could easily bump into them and knock them over. Duke is very attracted to cats so, as with many Huskies, we recommend a cat-free environment.

This handsome boy enjoys watching the world go by looking outside the front window of his foster home and amusing himself by playing with toys. He has a fun and sweet personality, making him so easy to love. Not aware of his size and thinks he is a lap dog, which can be pretty entertaining at times. He is well behaved and has shown nice house manners plus he knows the "sit" and "stay" commands.

Duke is healthy, neutered, Heartworm negative, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. He is a sweet young boy looking for a loving, forever home. Bring some joy into your life by giving this boy a chance. Fill out an adoption application. Fill out an adoption application on our web site, www.siberrescue.com – you’ll be forever glad you did.
