My story

Hello there! I'm Bentley and my rescuers cannot get over how darn cute I am! I ended up at a shelter in a county that pit-like dogs are illegal in, so my only hope was a rescue from a different county coming in a saving me or I would not have been put up for adoption and just put to sleep. Thankfully, I was pulled out of there, it would've been a very sad day if I was put down because I'm the sweetest boy you'll meet. My picture was taken at my foster moms work (she's a groomer) and I come and help her out from time to time. I'm a rescue favorite because I'm so big a beefy and a little baby at heart. I love kids, cats (though that hissing thing they do scares the daylights out of me) and other dogs! I'm already potty trained and have absolutely no behavioral issues, I don't even chew things! I'm about a year old so I still have a little bit of energy but I'm not hyperactive. I'm just an all around great pup looking for a great family to fit in to!

Why adoption is a great option

Bentley, a Manassas Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Manassas, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manassas paves the way for another one to be saved.
