AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.

Meet Gilbert, a 5 year old male, rescued from an Alabama shelter. It appears that Gilbert has lead a pretty rough life for quite sometime. His skin is riddled with infection and scars, he has fly bites on his ears along with ear and eye infections. Fortunately, he is heartworm negative. Gilbert is a very vocal fellow who is not enjoying his stay at our vets and isn't afraid to let anyone know about it. Apparently, he likes his freedom and is a bit stressed after his stay at animal control and now our vets. He was a sweetheart at animal control and during his transport to Atlanta but has now grown tired and a little depressed. He is dreaming of his own home, where he will be treated like the prince he always knew he was destined to be. Gilbert will be transferred to his foster home and ready for adoption soon. Gilbert looks a little rough for wear in these photos but nothing that a little good food, antibiotics and a little love can't cure....he will be beautiful when we're done with him!
