Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Libby. Typical of Labrador Retrievers, I am a very people-oriented dog. I have been around children for brief periods (when coming across them while being walked on a leash), but have not had an opportunity to spend a lot of time with them. I appear to really like children, so before I was found as a stray, maybe I was used to living with children. I would make An excellent family dog. I become very bonded with my people.
I was found wandering near a busy business center. I was skinny and a lady tried to coax me to her, but I would not come at first. She spent a month feeding me late at night by putting a bowl of food out in a nearby parking lot. One night I showed up with another dog (he tagged along for dinner, probably). Eventually, the lady was able to earn our trust and she got hold of both of us to bring us inside for safekeeping. That other dog is listed on this website and I would love to be adopted along with him, if someone would consider doing so. His name is Red.
While I enjoy playing with other dogs, romping in a back yard, I especially like my time with my foster mom. I am mostly quiet, only barking slightly when I want to be fed or when I’m jealous that another dog is getting the attention I want from my foster mom.
The estimate on my age is four-five years and I weigh about 50 pounds – of pure, unadulterated love! I am spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, microchipped, housetrained and crate trained. What more could you ask for?
I’m looking for a home where I can demonstrate how much love I have to give. Is that your home? I promise you will be loved and adored by me all of my days.
