My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I am Gunner, I am one handsome pup! Everybody says so. My brother Mike and I were in a shelter together until ABR came to get us. I was born on August 27, 1996, and I am well educated. My Hobbies include walks, playing at the lake, chewing rawhide bones and looking good. I get along well with cats, and some dogs. I seem to have issues with some male dogs. I lived with my brother Mike for a long time and he and I get along really well. When mom & dad got divorced, Mike and I found ourselves homeless. I was really sad. Mike and I are still together but now we are living with this other male dog and I don't like him sometimes but the girl dog that we live with is really cute and I like her. My foster mom says I talk a lot and I sound like George Thorogood, who ever that is.

A long time ago I was hit by a car. My head and back hurt really bad for a while. After the accident, I had to start taking ani-seizure medication, and I have been seizure free for the past 2 years. I do have to take medicine every day, but it’s not expensive and when I run at the lake, you can see that my back right leg isn't quite right, but that doesn't stop me from keeping up with the other dogs. When we go to the lake I don't need a leash cause I listen pretty well to my foster momma - she tells me that I'm a good boy, and handsome too.

History:
Gunner and his brother were brought to the shelter by there owners when they could not longer take care of them, and ABR was then contacted to help.

Gunner is up to date on his shots and is heartworm negative and on preventative.
