My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

11/2/14: Panda Deserves Your Consideration

Poor Panda is still in the boarding kennel and waiting for someone to take him home. His one basic need is having someone home for the better part of the day. He does not like being in a kennel …he will break out of his crate.

He is used to going on the furniture and sleeping in your bed. An adult only home would be preferred because he can be too exuberant for small children. He is a strong dog so a fenced yard would be a big plus for Panda. An EZ going canine companion and/or cat is fine but being the only “child” would suit Panda just fine. He LOVES attention!

Panda weighs in at 70lbs (kind of like a boxer ;-), but he is built like a little tank and is cute as can be. Here is another dog that just needs a break in life. Please consider giving Panda a chance.

09/07/14: PANDA LOST HIS FOREVER HOME

PANDA was returned to the kennel in late July of 2014 to no fault of his own. Panda did very well with the cat and dogs in his home, but a change in the household landed Panda back in a kennel. Please consider fostering or adoption this GREAT guy.

09/03/14: Panda is back and is available for ADOPTION!!!

FOSTER HOME NEEDED
09/28/13: Panda Is A Gentle Loving Soul

Panda is the kind of guy that you want to bear hug! Panda was running out of time at a shelter that was at full capacity. We were receiving pleas to help a list of dogs who were on the desperate list. We could not resist Panda'a adorable mug nor another shelter dog named Stitch who we also decided to take into our Rescue program. Panda had severe skin issues that the shelter had started to treat with antibiotics and grain free food. He was starting to improve but he had a long way to go before getting better when we picked him up. His entire chest and front paws were flaming red and raw and grossly irritated. A skin scraping proved negative for mites so the decision was made to finish the course of antibiotics, continue feeding the grain free food and start him on Benadryl while we monitored his condition. Luckily, his skin has improved immensely and he is definitely on the mend.

Sad to say that we have no available foster homes for Panda and our only option was to place him in a boarding kennel where we still have several other dogs waiting for a foster or adoptive home. The minute Panda arrived at the boarding facility he became one of their favorites because he is so adorable and friendly. All of the dogs we have in boarding are desperate to be in a loving home so please consider taking Panda or one of the other dogs home. Panda is a gentle, loving guy who deserves a warm bed and soft couch to cuddle on! Don’t pass this guy by! Panda seems to get along great with other dogs and is a gentle loving soul.
