Did you know that papillon means 'butterfly' in French? That's me - a tiny, petite little butterfly! I am Libby and I am a PAPILLON MIX, almost 10 pounds of sweetness! I was born in 2008, so I am just the right age to come be your sweet, forever little girl.
I'm all done with being a wild little puppy... I'm house trained and I have the very nicest manners! I had a family....I loved them very much and I thought they loved me....but they dropped me off in a high kill shelter. I was so frightened to be in that shelter that I hid from everyone. No one could see me and so no one adopted me....I was scheduled to be killed. The nice Humane Society took the time to really look hard for me in the shadows.... they saw me shivering and so desperate. They saved me....oh my, it was such a close call.
I have a new life now! I'm staying in a loving foster home until they find me my new forever family and home. Boy, is it nice! I follow my foster Mom everywhere she goes...I'm her little shadow. I would love to sleep with her at night but she doesn't want to spoil me too much...she wants to save that for my new family! She has a little girl too... boy, I like kids! I have to admit - I am learning that life can be wonderful and the people - big and little - can be very loving! My old family didn't treat me very kindly so I am a little shy until I get to know you...and then, you need to make room for me on your lap and know that I will follow you everywhere!
