Marley is between 1-2 year old lab mix. He is the most expressive boy i have ever had the pleasure of having long term. Marley came to us when he was 8 weeks old and survived through one hurdle over another. i have many many more pictures and he has lived with me since coming to maine when he was 14 weeks old.
Marley is definitely a breed all of his own. he is goofy and spunky, reallly loves to run and play, chases the ball comes on command most of the time, knows how to sit, will act like a 2 year old child sometimes and try to talk back. he is a big lap baby he literally will try to climb in your lap. He never meets a stranger, loves everyone and everything, he does need to be leashed anytime he is not in a fenced in area, or he will know he has the free range to bolt, its kind of funny because he has done it to me a few times and he will look back at you and its like he knows, smiles and takes off. he will come back but i dont like risking it. usually if i sit down and make crying noises or act like i am eating food he will run right back.
he is extemely food motivated, any kind of food, he loves it all. He loves going to the dog park, beach, riding in a vehicle, pet stores mostly pet life he loves those folks. always ready to go go go.
he has been housetrained a long time and will tell you when he wants something or needs something.
He is not really a chewer but does like to rip tennis balls or toys that have squeakers apart. loves chewies, marrow bones, pig ears cow ears, bully sticks, etc.
does fine home alone, we do not crate he does not need it.
like i said this boy is comical entertaining and extremely smart, maybe too smart for his own good.
This boy has the biggest personality for having almost everything a dog could get in the first few months of life, from parvo to demodex mange to elichiosis and he has conquered it all.
