Taco and Bell's Story...
Taco and Bell are 2 buddies that were surrendered to Friendship because their family was having landlord trouble. Taco is a 5 year old purebred long hair Chihuahua. She is cautious with strangers until she gets to know them. Taco loves rides in the car and sitting on laps and being petted. Bell was found as a stray and kept by Taco's family. Bell is a little shy at first too, but warms up. She also is a lap dog.The 2 dogs get along great and wouldn't mind being adopted together. Bell is only 9 months old and an American Eskimo mix. Both dogs are house trained and lived with cats. Bell tolerated the cats. They are not fond of younger children. Please consider adopting Taco and Bell together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taco and Bell, a Elyria Chihuahua/American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/American Eskimo Dog for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Chihuahua/American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with Chihuahua/American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
