UPDATE: 10-16-08: Hi there! Well it's finally cooling off here in CA. I like that! Now I can snuggle better. Would you like to snuggle me?? I snuggle in the bed at night or on your lap during the day or if you are really special you would take a nap during the day and let me snuggle. If you are looking for a warm, fuzzy snuggler, I am the girl for you! Let me know!!
UPDATE: 09-05-08: Hi there! It me again. My foster mom found me a new job. I am now the offical hunter at this house. If you have gophers, rats or mice, just take me home! FM says I have bunches of patience, I spent hours at a gopher hole the other day, just when he was coming out fm made me go in to the house! She said I shouldn't be silly about it when it's 108 outside!! I have to go back to the gopher hole now. FM says she is going to get a picture of me hunting for you. Yorkie licks and love, Lucy

TURN-ONS – Toys, dogs my size to play with, older children, stay at home moms and dads, small beds so I can sleep real close, large yards, attention of any kind, car rides
TURN-OFFS – Being told no, strangers (I’m a watch dog you know?), old dogs (they are grouchy and won’t play with me!), cats.
As Lucy matures, she is turning into a real lover. When she is not playing with her foster sister Bella, she wants to lie in a lap or upon a person, it doesn’t matter – anyone in the house will do, just sit still. She likes to place her head under your chin and nuzzle. She can do this for hours! She sleeps between me and the edge of the bed, on her back with her head on my arm like a fuzzy baby. She really needs a home while I can still let her go!! She is very intelligent and just wants to please people. If you think you have a place for this great baby, please fill out an application …. Update 01/23/08: Hi, it’s me Lucy again. I’m still looking for a person to call mine. Its ok here, but I have to share with everyone else, there is just not enough people to dog. The ratio is all wrong! Well, I am healthy and mostly happy. I am rapidly learning the dreaded ‘n’ word, you know --- no. I don’t like that word. FM says she never seen a little dog jump as high as I do. She thinks I should be a working dog, whatever that is. I am very intelligent, but stubborn. I just like to do things my way. I used to find all kinds of toys around the house but FM says things like no Lucy no don’t pull on the plant!! So I don’t do it any more (if she’s looking, but don’t tell her). FM took my baby away cause I pulled the stuffing out and spread it all over the house. I tried to tell her I was just making more toys but she said nnnnoo, Lucy nooooo. She bought Scruffy a baby, but I took it so now I have a new baby. Anyhow don’t you want to take me home??? I hear the wind blowing and I’m sure FM wants me to bark at it! More later!
Original Bio 10/16/07: Hi there, my name is Lucy! At least I think it's Lucy, it may be no Lucy, Lucy no, I dunno...foster mom says that a lot, maybe that is my new name. My other mom got me house broken, but don't know what everyone means when they say no! And trust me; they say it a lot around her. Anyhoo, me and my baby are looking for a new home. I'm a VERY active six month old "chorkie", if you don't know, that’s cause my fur mama was a yorkie and my fur dad was a Chihuahua. My other parents paid a lot of money for me. My other dad left me, so my mom gave me to my foster mom. I kinda miss my other brother and sister...foster mom said maybe we could find a new home for me with kids. I love to play!!! I do that so well! The other day I wore out my foster mom, my foster fur brother and my foster German Sheppard sister!! Everyone wanted to go to bed, but I wasn't ready. I just got 'fixed' today (geez, I didn't even know I was broken!!) so foster mom said I could go to a forever home soon.
