Hello my name is Mushu and I am an 8yr old 1llb male Silky Terrier.. My family had to move and I wasn't allowed to go with.
I am looking for my perfect forever home, somewhere I can stay forever and never be scared again.
I will follow you everywhere and I just love to cuddle. I will sit on you or next to you on the couch where we can watch TV and yes I have been caught actually watching the TV!!! . My favorite thing is attention! Esp at bedtime.. when it is time to hit the hay leave room for me because I love to snuggling up very much, I do not want to be alone!
I do get along with both male and female dogs of all sizes as long as they or not aggressive or dominate otherwise I shy away.. I do not mind thier company and like to explore with them in the yard and go for walks together. I am not a playmate type dog more of a companion type dog. I have never been around cats or tested around cats that we know of so I do not know what I would do.
Currently I get to run around a fenced yard and love it but I am also taken on walks and really love my walks!! I would do well with anything as long as I do get to go outside and enjoy it!!
I have only lived with older children 14yrs and I have had no contact with small children who will want to play, pick me up, tug and give me kisses.. so to keep everyone safe I would love an adult family only.
I do not shed and will require brushing and grooming since my coat constantly grows, there is "NO" guarantee I am a Hypo-Allergenic dog just because I do not shed.
I need to find my perfect home and my perfect home would need to work with one issue, I do my potty outside and I never potty or mark in my crate but for some reason I am marking in couple spots in the foster home. Hey it's not like I am running all over the place just doing it, you see it could be my foster home has had a couple pups come over and mark, I seem to be marking in all the same places they have had in the past(Not all at once mind you) Another thing could be I am nervous and scared (I am in a new home with new pups) and going into my new home could change it all. My foster Mom is working on this with me and I am wearing a belly band to help with the training. I need a family that understands and is willing to work with me and forgive me and if I never understand my family will be there forever.... you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Sometimes it takes a different home and a special person and it no longer happens.
I am fully Vetted/Neutered/Microchipped(Reg to the rescue)/Heartworm Neg/Dental completed.
I have an adoption fee of $150 to cover my vetting expenses and to help the next pup get saved down the road.
I will only be adopted within 50 miles of Chicago Illinois
