My name is Martini.. I am small in stature but big in personality, I am aprox. 6-7 years old.. I am neutered, micro chipped and fully vetted. I am up to date on all my shots. I am a very healthy boy, I am on a special diet because I am prone to getting bladder stones, but since eating my "special food" I have been stone free so far. I am a GOOD BOY, I know this because my foster mom tells me everyday, she loves me. I live with 4 other dogs.. (4 yorkies and a big golden retriever) I am learning how to be a dog, You see, I have been spoiled all my life, doing whatever I wanted to do with no boundaries... I never really had any discipline to speak of. I have some small issues that my foster mom is working with me on and she says I'm doing great!!
I am potty trained as long as you let me out to do my business, I'm learning how to use a doggie door and getting better at it every day. I get along very well with other dogs but sometimes I get excited when the others play and I want to play too, however, I was never socialized with other dogs so I don't really know how to play with them and sometimes I get a little to rough. The other dogs I live with are teaching me how to play in a pack and my foster mom is helping me understand that play time is fun. I DO NOT care too much for children, they really scare me, so it would be best if I go to a home without children. I am selective with some adults but I am learning that most people are good. My foster mom takes me to lots of places and she says I am doing very good.. I LOVE it when she tells me I'm a good boy because I'm really trying my best. I love to go for walks and I love car rides, I sit in my very own car seat so I can look out the window. I am kennel trained, I will go right in all by myself when told but I really don't like or want to be in a kennel all day. My foster mom only puts me in a kennel if she has to go somewhere and she cant take me. I don't fuss about it because I know when she gets home I get to come out. So PLEASE, don't lock me up all day, it hurts my feelings and I feel so all alone and sad. If I do something I'm not supposed to do my foster mom lets me know right away by saying Martini, NO and I stop right away. I'm still working on some issues I have and my foster mom is very good at helping me understand what she wants from me. I must be doing very good because my foster mom tells me all the time what a good boy I am.
I would do best in a home where someone is home all day (not working) I would do best in a home without children, I am potty trained, but you have to watch my body language.. I will let you know when I need to go out by going to the door or pacing back and forth, if you ignore me I will have an accident in the house. I have not gone potty in my foster home because my foster mom knows when I have to go out. I can do tricks for treats, but remember, you have to buy "special treats" for me because of my bladder stone issues. I will sit on command, I will shake your hand on command, I can lay down when told too... But my best trick is I dance... Yep, that's right.. I will stand on my hind legs and dance around in circles (its so cute)
Martini is a great little boy, he weighs 4.7 pounds, he needs a little "fine tuning" with some small issues he has, but other than that he is AWESOME!!
