Meet Sinatra. This short legged "low rider" guy was found wandering in a rural area. No one ever came to claim him from the shelter. Sinatra is a little timid but warms up quickly. Our dog walkers say "Sinatra is awesome. Around people he doesn't know he is very shy but once he gets to know you he is all hugs, wiggles and wags." Sinatra loves chew toys and walks well on a leash. He gets along with other dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. Sinatra is about 2 years old and 55 pounds. Please help Sinatra find the loving home he deserves. Update: Sinatra tested positive for two common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Anaplasmosis. He has completed his course of oral antibiotic is doing great. Sinatra is ready to go home with his forever family! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Meet Mint!! Mint is a 9 year-old, 34 pound Basset Mix who loves cuddles and being close to her people. Mint's superpowers include being incredibly sweet and affectionate along with having a great nose. She is confident on city sidewalks and keeps her nose to the ground in true hound fashion, always on the case! She is still working on her crate training but sleeps through the night when she has someone to cuddle. In terms of house training, Mint does really well on a schedule. Right now she goes out every two hours (except during the night) and hasn't had an accident since. We are optimistic that with time and positive reinforcement crate training, she will be able to hold it longer! Some of Mint's favorite things are her kongs (stuffed with Weruva chicken and frozen!), kibble in her snuffle mat, and a good blanket to burrow in. If you're looking for a heart melter with the best ears in town, Mint might be your perfect match! Mint is currently being fostered in Manhattan, NY, and her adoption fee is $325. weight 40  age 2 neutered up to date in vaccines,  adoption donation $599   Roscoe is a very sweet and gentle boy whose owner passed away and he found himself without a place to go. Wags took him into the rescue and his tail has been wagging ever since! Roscoe is very friendly and has no aggression, he’s an awesome family dog. He gets along well with all the dogs, he isn’t a barker and is house trained, although like most rescue dogs he may need a refresher course when he adjusts to a new home. Roscoe has not been tested around cats but he is such a mellow and gentle boy and we think he would likely be just fine.
