Meet Cletus! Cletus is a fun loving old man beagle dog, who we guess to be around 8-9 years old. He likes to spend his days sniffing the ground minding his own business.. He will require a fenced yard as we all know how those beagle noses can get them in trouble! He does well with other dogs and everyone he meets! Not sure how he would be with cats but given his laid back personality we think he wouldn't mind them at all. Cletus will be fully vetted including Neuter, Heartworm Test, Vaccines including Rabies as well as Microchipped. Man dumped all the male puppies from a litter and we took one from a friend to help out. Under our care he has been to the vet to receive check-up, shots (list upon request), and deworming/flea and tick treatment. Crate trained. He is around children and other pets (cats and dogs) and is so good with all of them. He is a very sweet and snuggly little guy. We spent several days with my sister who has a Boston Terrier puppy and Hatchet was amazing with him. We wish we could keep him but it is not possible at this time. He needs a loving home with connection and space to explore.

Story
Our Lanky guy is house trained, crate trained, loves playing tug-of-war with ropes and his blue ring. He loves belly rubs and snuggles. While he okay with other dogs and cats he takes a bit to be fully comfortable. He’s enjoys kids that are old enough to play or give him attention but we are finding that babies steal too much of the attention he is used to having and that is causing the pain point for us. He does like to bark at animals outside but that can be controlled with treats/positive reinforcement. He does really well with training. He can do the basics: sit, lie down, stay, paw. He will also do a spin and he used to do roll over, but it’s been a while since we practiced that. We are sad to be rehoming, but with our baby, he continues to show jealously towards the attention she gets. Overall he is a sweet boy that wants a family to love, snuggle, play with, and go on walks with. Bonus: He is a perfect work-from-home ‘coworker’ he enjoy napping by you while you work.
