Story
**COURTESY POST** This handsome boy is Buddy! We are looking for a dedicated and committed foster home or better yet....a forever home! We are working together with the shelter who reached out to us to let us know that this sweet boy has been there since October of last year! Buddy is a 2 year old, male, 30lb, Bearded Collie mix that is a diamond in the rough. We are told that he does not show well because he takes a little time to trust and feel safe with new people. We have met him in person and yes, that is the case but we also saw the potential in him! Buddy needs a dog savvy home that will give him the time, space, kindness, and love he needs to decompress and understand that he is protected and loved. We are looking for a foster or adopters that are not gone long hours during the day and have a home with a safe and secure yard. A home with no other dogs would be best as we feel he needs that one on one time with his "person." Buddy seems to have been let down by the people he trusted and loved most (former owners who relinquished him) so we want to show him what true unconditional love is with a home that will not give up on him. **Please note that Buddy will be groomed shortly** Buddy is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We are looking for a home in the Greater Los Angeles areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Please contact us at: Gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020
