Story
Meet Lucy Lou, She is a 7 year old Bichon Frise. She is a retired breeder dog who is ready to live the spoiled life that she deserves. She's very sweet, quiet, and calm. She does love to dance when she sees you and wags her tail with big happy thumps.  She's doing well with house training, but does sometimes dribble pee when excited. If you had been pregnant as many times as she had, you would too. She is good with other dogs and cats. She has been completely vetted including a dental in which several of her teeth needed to be removed. She does fine eating and drinking. Lucy Lou's adoption fee has kindly been covered by a donor, but we will verify that the applicant can take care of her financially. The donation includes her spay, dental, vaccines, heartworm testing and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. You can apply at  https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1982239##

Story
Meet Shirley. She is a 7 year old Bichon Frise. She is a retired breeder dog who is ready to live the spoiled life that she deserves.  She has lots of energy and love to give. It will take time for her to warm up to you, but once she does, she'll be your best friend. She will need continued work on potty training and leash manners (the leash is very scary). Shirley would do well with or without a doggie friend, unsure about cats. She has been completely vetted including a dental in which all of her teeth needed to be removed. She does fine eating and drinking. Shirley's adoption fee has kindly been covered by a donor, but we will verify that the applicant can take care of her financially. Spunky little Kobe likes to hippity hop everywhere he goes! He will have you smiling in no time. He's so goofy and loves a good treat and toys. Apply today! All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heart-worm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Due to the construction of our state of the art facility, none of our pets are on site, they are all located in foster homes at this time. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. After we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within 72 hours or less. We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not be processing any applications on those days. Do get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey: A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pets availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents via a meeting app). We do require that adopters discuss all questions before pickup via phone or email in order to minimize direct contact with our staff/volunteers at the time of adoption. After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system* *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Drive-in adoption! Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the Nu-Way semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Story
Hi friends! My name is Washington. Aren't I gorgeous? (I'm not vain it's just true. )I'm an 8-year-old Bichon who weighs 13-pounds. I act like a pup still, but, my teeth all rotted out of my head. Never fear, I still have two teeth left, and I eat normal food. I'm great with kids and other dogs, and even the foster cat. But, goodness I can't resist an open door. My last home, the kiddos loved to play outside. They'd forget and accidentally let me outside when I wasn't supposed to be. I kept getting lost, and they decided I should go somewhere with more security to contain my exploring tendencies. Could you be my new pawrent?? I am potty and crate trained, and I like children! Please apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog His minimum adoption donation amount is $275. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt. Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers.
