Angel's Retreat recently took in 12 small breeder dogs from a mill that was shutting down. All of these dogs are small adults ranging from 3-7yrs old. These ladies have never lived in a home before and will need lots of love and TLC. They are not house trained. Most of them need extensive dental surgery as well as spays which will be covered by the rescue, but may require you to bring your adopted dog back to the rescue after adoption. These sweet girls deserve a second chance at life. If you can provide a quiet and loving home to one of these angels please apply at www.angelsretreat.org.

Snowball is a 10 year old Bishon. He is referred to as The Gentleman. He is always in a good mood. He walks well on a leash. Will stay by your side or lay in his dog bed. He is great with kids, other dogs and cats. He doesn't bark, loves to snuggle. He can get confused at times and is on heart meds. He is a very sweet older man who just wants a soft spot to call his own with whatever time he has left. would you consider this sweet older pup. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below: Dog/Puppy: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Dog Cat/kitten: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Cat 4. You will be notified of outcome of your application within 1-3 days. 5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are: - Bring a leash and collar and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting. - Meeting should be no longer than 1 hour. Our fosters are volunteers and we value and respect their time and personal commitments. - All members of the household (including other dogs) must be present. - Please be prepared to submit adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting. - If all goes well, the dog will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the dog. Because we have a limited amount of foster homes, we cannot hold dogs past adoption. 6. Violet is an approximately 7 year old spayed female Bichon Frise who weighs 16.3 lbs. Violet came to All 4 Paws from a breeding kennel after she wasn't useful for breeding. Despite her past, Violet is forward friendly and loves getting attention from people of all sizes. Violet is busy and curious. The world around her is new and exciting and she is looking for a family who will help her get comfortable and experience all the good things in life. Violet is doing well with her training and seems to learn new things quickly. Her family will need to be patient with her in the beginning as she catches on. Violet loves other dogs and would enjoy having a good buddy. She'd do best in a home without cats as she likes to bark at them when they are within sight. Going for walks has quickly become one of her favorite activities; she's already a celebrity in the neighborhood!
