Story
Well, hello! I'm Bobby! I'm a Black Mouth Cur Retriever mix. The humans here tell me I have beautiful, loving eyes and am quite the looker! I just know...I love hanging out with people I trust, but I'm a little fearful of strangers so it takes time to get to know me. But once we're friends, I'll love you forever. I love playing with other dogs, even ones that are smaller than me, because, let's face it, most dogs are smaller than me! So I would love to play with another doggo pal! I would make a really good & loyal family companion. I try to have good doggie leash manners but I'm a strong boy so I need an equally strong, confident handler in case I see something fun to chase-like a squirrel! I would love for you to come meet me! And if you already have another dog, bring them to meet me to see if we will get along. Please visit hsnb.org to fill out an adoption interest application to set up a visit. My $200 adoption fee means I'll come to your house neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on my vaccinations. Hope to see you soon! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 77.5 Age: 3yrs 9mths 0wks

Story
Handsome Johnnie needs a loving home. He is a 9 ½ -month-old, 55-pound, tan, smooth coated, mix: his vet sees a smidge of Great Dane / Rhodesian Ridgeback; Though his brothers DNA shows that they are mostly American Staffordshire terrier, Chihuahua and German Shepherd, interesting mix. Johnnie has pretty eyes and gorgeous ears. His mom Jessie looks like a small Shepherd/Corgi mix. He is 100% adorable. When he was a baby puppy, Johnnie was found with his mother and siblings living under a freeway underpass. He was adopted but his current family is in poor health and is not able to meet his needs. He needs an active family that will play with him daily. He would love to join you all on life’s adventures? He enjoys cuddles and kisses He loves toys so please have lots of KONG Type / heavy duty toys. He is still a puppy! He would love for you to teach him some tricks. He is leashed trained and enjoys his walks. He is potty trained and used to being kept on a schedule. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Johnnie would love to be your new best friend. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
