Cocoa Puff is a beautiful Black Mouth Cur mix who is looking for a compassionate person who will make her feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated. After a first date at a respectful pace, Cocoa Puff loves her person so much. Sometimes, there is just so much excitement to share that Cocoa Puff will bounce enthusiastically, like cereal hitting a bowl (it's cereal first, then milk, people!) Cocoa Puff is learning that a happy butt wiggle with a nice sit will see her rewarded with all the things she desires, which are treats! (Dog-friendly, not human cereal please.) Cocoa Puff is also learning to pay attention to her human instead of the commotions of the street. With patience, consistency, and a stainless steel spoon, her new loving family can help Cocoa Puff learn that the world is not a scary place. Am I more cookie or brownie? I am not sure, but people do say that I am super sweet!! I love giving kisses and lots of love. I love meeting anyone and everyone and am always so happy to be alive! I love hanging out and I will never say no to a little snack. I am happy to join you on adventures anywhere and am generally on my best behavior :) I am a moderate energy girl who enjoys daily walks and some playtime. I love long walks or hikes, runs, playing with other dogs, a nice brushing and sniffing all the smells. When I am not off on an adventure with my favorite humans, I enjoy snuggling up to them on the comfy couch. I currently live with both dogs and cats and I love them both. I also do well with children. I can be a bit excited when meeting other dogs because I really want to play, play, and play some more with them. I have also met a bird and I thought it was really cool. I did not show any indication of prey drive when meeting the bird, I was more curious about what they were doing in the house. Brookie is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption.
