Peyton 2-years-old and 25lbs!! Cuteness alert. This sweet and gentle little lady is ready to love you. Shy at first, she plays well with other dogs, especially small ones, and loves the outdoors. She is easily trained to potty outside, just show her your door and praise her for repeated successes. She loves her fluffy bed and stuffed toys, seldom barks, and prefers to sleep near her people. Peyton is wonderful around children. She hasn't shown aggression at a 2-year-old. She has gotten much more friendly, each day. Welcome Blake. A dog who sat for almost a year at a local shelter just waiting for someone to help foster him. Well, that someone was Michael who saw a post that he was marked URGENT and ran to his rescue. All because Michael reached out to foster, we were able to help him. That simple!! Blake everyday goes to the school bus stop and 5th graders hug him. He is so sweet if you go to hug him he stands still and puts his head on your shoulder and snuggles. He is affectionate as any old hound. "Blake is very sweet and gentle. Seems he prefers to be inside. His energy level is on the lower side. I took him for a few walks and a block walk is sufficient for him. He is very good with my kids. He loves to be pet and given attention. He starts wagging his tail and coming to get attention. He doesn't mind his crate. He ignores my dachshund. He looks forward to his pets and love. He needs a fenced yard. Someone should be experienced with coonhounds. It is definitely not overbearing though compared to other hounds. He jumps on the counter but we have been working on that. Can't believe no one went to look for him when he got lost.
