Story
Waylon is approximately 5 months old and 40 pounds. He is good with other dogs with proper introductions but can be  a little bit stingy with toys. He likes to run and will counter surfs a little bit and he's not a 100% house broken but we're working on that too. Currently living with 3 other dogs and 4 cats. He wants to play with the cats but being so big it's not feasible. He takes correction and redirects well.. He already knows how to sit and wait for his food and his treats although he can get a little antsy. Waylon likes to sleep in the bed and will follow you from room to room. He's very attached to his person. He is currently teething so he has to be watched.  He is fully vetted including  neuter, microchip, all puppy vaccinations, as well as rabies vaccination. H e would make a great addition to your family.   His adoption fee is $225   You can apply to adopt here:   http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application22.html   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
PIPER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN!    This adorable girl is Piper. She is a stunning 2-year-old, 38lb Black Mouth Cur mix. She was pulled from a shelter back in August, and she was in pitiful shape: underweight and scared! That is NO MORE. Her foster mom has gotten her fattened up and healthy. She has helped build her confidence. Piper is now a well-rounded, wonderful dog.   She is a very energetic dog. She loves running and playing in the yard with her toys and fur siblings. She is house trained and is very good in the house. She is doing good on leash; she pulls a little, but we are working on that! She gets along good with other dogs. Her foster home also has two cats, and she has not bothered them beyond curiosity. She is playful and loves tug of war! She listens and learns easily. She would enjoy outdoor activities with her furever family. This girl gets compliments on her looks and mannerisms everywhere we go! Piper is going to make someone a great dog, no doubt.   She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, all shots including her rabies shot. Her adoption fee is $225.  To apply to adopt Piper, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 25, 2024, 8:44 pm

Story
Meet Rah, the resilient Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix with a heart as big as his adventures. At just 1.5 years old, Rah has already faced more than his fair share of challenges, but his spirit remains unbroken.Born into uncertainty, Rah found himself discarded like yesterday's news, alongside his faithful companion, Biggs. Their journey took an unexpected turn on April 4th, 2024, when they embarked on a carefree exploration of the neighborhood. But fate had other plans, leading them into the path of animal control during their routine patrols.Separated from the freedom they briefly tasted, Rah and Biggs were swept away from their escapade. However, fortune smiled upon them when a compassionate neighbor recognized their plight and guided authorities to their home. Sadly, their reunion was marred by rejection, as their human showed no interest in reclaiming them.Rah's journey took an unexpected twist when he found himself not only facing the challenges of abandonment but also grappling with a sudden injury. Despite the setback of a sprained front leg, Rah's indomitable spirit shines through as he bravely tackles his recovery with the support of the compassionate staff at the animal shelter.Yet, Rah's tale took a hopeful turn when the caring souls at the animal shelter intervened. It appears that I may have sprained my front leg, I was limping and but putting any weight on it, the staff hooked me up, I got some pain medication and anti-inflammatory medication and have already improved and am trying to put weight on my leg. What a blessing the animal shelter picked us up to care for us. Amidst the uncertainty, they offered refuge, kindness, and a chance for Rah to find a new beginning. With each wag of his tail and every soulful gaze, Rah proves that resilience knows no bounds, and love can triumph over life's curveballs. Thanks to their timely intervention, Rah received the care he needed, including pain medication and anti-inflammatory treatment. Already, he's showing signs of improvement, determined to overcome this obstacle and reclaim his zest for life. Every step forward is a testament to Rah's resilience and the unwavering love and care he receives from those around him.
