Hi! I am Cocoa! CFR rescued me from the unbearable Texas summer when me and my littermates were found living outside. Since then, I have been able to flourish in a safe foster home and am seeking my forever family.  My foster moms say I am super smart and have been quick to learn, including potty training. I use a doggy door now but if that's not open, I know where to scratch on the backdoor to go out; I am quick to learn new routines. I have a sweet temperament and am eager to please - I am still an active puppy, but definitely understand correction. I am fully crate trained, sleeping there at night and even choosing to rest in my crate during the day but I love getting to snuggle in the morning on the big bed with my new foster Mom and the big dogs. My moms say I have a calm disposition - whatever that means, I just roll with it.  I LOVE to play and run, so I really need a secure yard to run in. I would do best with older kids. Because I am a shy girl, younger kids might make me nervous. I get along with other dogs, including the two 80# foster sisters. I have not been cat tested, but the rescue can do this before a trial just in case. I am currently about 59 pounds and will likely stay medium sized once I am all grown up. I am fully vetted and ready for a new adventure. I love to run and have long legs so I can run fast. Need a running partner, I would love to go with you on your daily/weekly runs.  I had a rough start to life, so I am shy at first. Mr. Biscuits is approx. 1 year old and 45-50 lbs (as of 12 25/2023). He was found stray and attempts to locate his owner were unsuccessful. He's now in foster care while he waits for his forever family. He has been in our program for 4 months (as of 1/28/24) so the adoption fee has been reduced to the Diamond Dog fee is $125.  Biscuits is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is good with other dogs and still has lots of young dog energy. He enjoys using his nose to explore his world. He’s a sweet boy who likes new people. Biscuits has learned how to sit and is working on other commands. Hi, my name is Laredo and I am 3 yrs old! I am a big lap dog and love to be right with my person. My life before rescue was not the best, so I was a bit afraid of new people and dogs when I came to Habitat 4 Paws. My fosters saw what a good dog I could be with a little reassurance and Habitat 4 Paws set me up with a great trainer! I am finishing up a month long training and doing great. Everyone says I am super smart and an excellent direction follower. I have learned some good commands, worked on my socialization skills, and am becoming a very confident and happy dog! Now it's time to find my forever family! I think I would like an active family best, to play with, go on walks, and spend lots of time together. I'm good with kids, too! Although I love being the center of your doggie attention, I would be fine sharing the spotlight with another calmer dog. And bonus..... I am crate and potty trained too!
