Story
This sweet boy might be the smallest of his litter, but he has a big personality! Javi Balbina is a smooth soft white colour with a few small tan spots on his left ear and one on the top of his head. His eyes are his most distinctive feature – one is surrounded by a circle of darker brown and the other is just white/pink. Just wait until you see him wink at you! Javi also has the cutest black spotted nose – it reminds us of a sweet little heart. This boy loves to jump and play as much as he likes to snooze. (Be sure to watch the video of him snoozing for a laugh). You will love to watch all Javi’s classic puppy antics. He loves to play with all eight (8!) of his siblings and would do well in a house with other dogs, or as the sole star of your attention. This litter was born in care, and Javi was his Mama’s favourite; we hope he will be your favourite too! Javi is currently just 5 weeks old and only a few pounds, and we think he may be a Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Javi is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Story
Gentle Jacie is here! This calm, mellow girl is looking for a home that is filled with snuggles and snoozes. Jacie is so friendly and loving, and not afraid to go her own way –as long as she can be right by your side. We think Jacie will attach quickly, so be prepared to have a new faithful friend in this joyful pup. Jacie has the most distinctive markings in all her litter – she is mostly white with striking spots of brindle on her sides. Her white chest and belly is usually up and ready for belly rubs, which are quite possibly her next favourite thing after snoozing by your side. Jacie has a black/brown brindle pattern on both sides of her face and ears that frame her striking blue eyes perfectly – we know it's not possible, but she looks like a tiny St. Bernard!! Her little black nose in the midst of her white snout and white chin is just adorable! You will love to watch all Jacie’s classic puppy antics. She loves to play with all eight (8!) of her siblings and would do well in a house with other dogs, or as the sole star of your attention. This litter was born in care, and Jacie is one of the six girls of this litter (that also has three boys). Ria is ready for the best adventure with you! This affectionate and playful pup needs someone that will lavish all their attention on her. Luckily for you, that will be easy to do – this little girl is so lovable. She loves to be held and given belly rubs almost as much as she likes to play and nap. If you adopt Ria, be sure you are prepared for all the kisses you will get – Ria does not hold back when showing her affection (and we love it that way). Ria is a beautiful tricolour puppy – her body is mostly a soft furry black, but she has tan legs and white ‘boots’. Her head and ears are mostly black, with the cutest brown eyebrows to accentuate her every expression. Ria has a patch of white on top of and underneath her shiny black nose, and also at her chin. She has a distinctive diamond-shaped patch of white fur at the nape of her neck that pops amidst all the black, making her easy to spot from above. Perhaps the best part is her soft white furry belly, which she will show you often while playing and begging for belly rubs. This sweet girl has the best markings and will be quite the stunner as she grows! You are sure to be entertained by all of Ria’s classic puppy antics. Story
Loving this affectionate and gentle blue-eyed baby girl is so easy to do. You will fall head over heels for Tula because she is simply charming. Tula is both brave and curious, perky and cheerful. She can hold her own against her brothers and siblings, but is so gentle with everyone she meets. Tula loves to play and nap, often one right after the other – she will play, then drop down for a quick snooze. That’s the best part of puppy life! Tula has the softest brown with black coat that seems to change from light to dark depending on how the light hits her. Her snout is a solid black and both ears are the prettiest brown-to-black ombré. She has black accents around her eyes that make the cutest little ‘eyebrows’ that frame her dreamy blue eyes. Perhaps the best part of Tula’s face is her white chin. Tula’s chest and belly has a lot of fluffy white, and the very tips of her toes has the slightest white ‘manicure’. You are sure to be entertained by all of Tula’s classic puppy antics. She loves to jump and play with all eight (8!) of her siblings and would do well in a house with other dogs, or as the sole star of your attention. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
This big fella is so mellow and affectionate with everyone he meets. Every picture you take (if he’s not napping, that is) will highlight his fun and playful side – it looks like he’s always smiling and laughing. You can’t help but be charmed by this jolly fellow. Bastian might be the largest boy of the litter, but he handles his size with such poise and grace. He is a cheerful, gentle giant that loves to snuggle just as much as he loves to play with each of his siblings. Like most of his siblings, Bastian enjoys belly rubs and snuggles, so be prepared to provide lots of both! Bastian is mostly brown, with a black snout and nose. His black ‘eyebrows’ above his dark blue eyes only add to his expressiveness. Bastian has a tiny white patch just above and around his black nose, and another white patch at his chin. The white chin patch is surrounded by black on his neck – it almost looks like he has a black beard when he’s upside down, lol! Bastian has white at his chest and the cutest white ‘pedicure’ at each of his four paws. You are sure to be entertained by all of Bastian’s classic puppy antics. He loves to jump, roll, and play with all eight (8!) of his siblings and would do well in a house with other dogs, or as the sole star of your attention. This litter was born in care, and Bastian is one of the three boys of this litter (that also has six girls). Bastian is currently just 5 weeks old and only a few pounds, and we think he may be a Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! Bastian is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation.
