Shadow is the total package — affectionate, happy, playful, and incredibly loving. This handsome boy is looking for a forever family where he can finally enjoy the life and love he deserves.
Shadow loves people and he enjoys going on walks with volunteers, playing tug-of-war, and spending time with his caregivers. He’s social, intelligent, eager to please, and has a wonderful balance of playful energy and calm companionship. After a fun walk or play session, Shadow is more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap by your side.
He gets along beautifully with other dogs and is also cat friendly. Shadow has an amazing personality and would thrive in many different types of homes — whether as the only dog soaking up all your attention, with another friendly dog, or as part of a loving family with children. He is the kind of dog who quickly becomes your loyal best friend. Shadow adores being around people and has a happy, playful spirit that brings joy wherever he goes. Wonderful with kids, he’s almost like a big kid himself — affectionate, goofy, fun-loving, and always ready to make you smile.

Shadow has the opportunity to travel to New York in August if we can secure an adopter or foster-to-adopt home in time. This sweet boy is ready to leave shelter life behind and start his new chapter with a family of his own.
