Smoke is a young, happy-go-lucky Blue Lacy that`s been living it up in foster since September & is ready for his forever home!Smoke`s foster says, `Smoke loves playing fetch (& has very impressive reflexes, often snatching the ball from the air.) He also enjoys napping after he`s gotten all his energy out, particularly when he can cuddle with his human or doggie friends. He`s also a great guard dog & loves watching our street from the window. My favorite things about Smoke are how has a goofy personality in combo with a serious face, how affectionate he is with both people & other dogs, & that he`s a great communicator! He sits by the door when has to go out, brings me a toy when he wants to play, & climbs into my lap when he wants cuddles. Smoke is very dog-social; not sure about cats or kids. I think he would be just fine with older kids as he LOVES humans but can be quite rambunctious when playing so maybe not the best fit for small children. Smoke is a beautiful, athletic, loving, intelligent dog & whoever adopts him will be highly blessed! Lansom is: - Completely housetrained- Cratetrained but nondestructive if left out while alone- GREAT with dogs after introductions (has been in a foster with dogs from 4.5 lbs to 52 lbs)- Thrives with positive reinforcement (he’s a sensitive guy)- Never turns down a treat - Quiet in the home- Learns quicklySome reviews from his foster homes:“We had a 18 year old and 14 year old in the home along with friends of the 14 year old that would come and go. He met a 2 year old through the fence and just licked her hand. He was sweet with every human he met.”“He loves to play with a dog that meets his energy level, but he also knows when to just relax and be small dog friendly.”“If we had the space and my work situation wasn’t changing we would totally keep Lansom. He does really well with routines and became such a good friend to our dogs.”“We have a 52-lb female pitbull mix who is five years old. They got along swimmingly. Lansom shared toys with her and never played too rough. He was very respectful of her boundaries in that regard.”“We never had an accident in the house. He was not kept in a crate and did not damage anything in the house, even when left alone with our resident dog. He is really good about going to a designated spot at bedtime. `Levi arrived without any history, so lucky him, he`s landed a foster home so we can find out all about his best traits. Besides being a great cuddly, playful companion and family member, check out what we’ve learned:~~ First off, he’s a perfect medium size of less than 40lbs, ideal for many home types~~Levi’s personality is described as “smart and sensitive”, he wants to please his people and that means he can adapt and learn new things easily~~Levi has done well in one living arrangement with another dog and passes dogs outside nicely~~Levi is able to manage a long day between potty breaks. He also knows how to use a doggie door if you have one. If he`ll be left alone long periods, he`ll appreciate his new people understanding that he needs to know you, as his new people, will be coming back when you leave him, and as with all new fur family members, please plan to allow an adjustment period for him to learn this and the new routines in your place ~~Levi loves walks and runs and if you do too, he’ll be happy to oblige you. He loves walks so much he may get a little zoomie in afterward. This pretty Heeler mix is Clover, the happiest girl with the most beautiful smile! She is young, athletic and playful; she loves life and her joy is so refreshing. Clover is highly intelligent and loves to learn, she quickly mastered skills such as "come" and "sit." She is also very social and plays nicely with other dogs, and she enjoys exploring the trails with PAWS staff and volunteers! Clover recently spent time in a foster home, and her family shared these wonderful notes about her: "Clover has the kindest and most genuine personality, she is super affectionate and just adores people! She is very well-behaved in the house, she tip-toes around and is very careful not to disturb anything. Clover gets along beautifully with our other dogs, including several PAWS foster siblings. She also adores our kids, she is so sweet and gentle with them. She really enjoys snuggling close to us, and she rolls over onto her back for belly rubs. Clover also likes car rides and I take her everywhere with me. She is very well-behaved in public and she enjoys shopping at Tractor Supply! Sweet Clover is housebroken, crate trained, and she knows many basic commands. She does have a lot of youthful energy, and she will most certainly appreciate a large yard for morning zoomies and playing fetch. We absolutely adore this sweet girl, whoever adopts her will be blessed with a loving and loyal friend for life." Clover has attended several PAWS off-site adoption events, where she always greets everyone with polite sniffs and kisses. She is quite the social butterfly and loves being the center of attention!
