Story
Blueberry is super sweet. She's great with other dogs, she's tiring out one of our dogs. She loves the fenced yard! She has a very playful spirt and likes to play keep away with stuffed toys. She great on the walk, I was able to walk all 3 dogs at once for 2.5 miles. She does well in the crate at night and at times during the day'. Since Blueberry has a lot of playful energy we believe she will need a fenced yard and ideally another playful dog she can play with. Please let us know if you would like to meet Blueberry. Story
Beta is a 5 year old rescued as a puppy from a litter brought from Mississippi. She needs a home with no dogs and preferably no children. If you've got a backyard or field that would be great because she loves her zoomies. She loves running on trails and catching sticks (no need to spend money on toys!) She does have some issues with resource guarding but is able to adapt with time in a home. She's on Reconcile which has helped with barking at everything at the window/front door and anxiety. Beta is just as content running around as she is sleeping beside you on Friday movie night. It's best she stay away from people who do not know how to respect a dog's boundaries. She will give signals when she's anxious or uncomfortable with a situation. Beta needs a home with experienced dog owners with no kids running in/out of the house and no other dogs (and maybe no cat). Put in the proper environment, she is the most therapeutic, loving, thankful and happiest dog.

Story
Meet Bella, she is a 5yr old Blue Tick Coon Hound female. She is housetrained. She doesn’t require a crate but was crate trained. Bella also went through training when she was younger. Bella is incredibly sweet and very loved. The decision to rehome her was very difficult. Unfortunately, Bella’s dad has terminal cancer and making sure she is taken care of is a high priority. Bella is a typical hound. She loves car rides, outdoors and walks. Bella is also perfectly content lounging on the couch with her humans. Bella does well with children of all ages. She is a big girl so please be mindful that she may knock a toddler over by accident but she is not rough. Bella has previously been around other dogs. However, it has been years since she has had interactions with other dogs outside of occasional walks. Bella would need to have a meet and greet with resident dogs before adoption in a home with other animals. You must be over 21 and a home owner to adopt me. Please visit www.pittiesandpurrs.org to fill out an application. For further information contact adoptpitties@gmail.com

Story
Courtesy post "Riley  is estimated to be a 2 year old blue tick/ Catahoula hound mix that was originally surrendered to Paw Prints Vet in WV. He was adopted on March 1st after getting neutered and vaccinated on February 24th. Unfortunately, we cannot provide him his forever home because we do not have the time or space he needs to be cared for permanently. He loves cuddling and is great with humans, including kids. He does well with submissive dogs, but does not handle reactive or loud dogs well. He is very skittish with some dogs and would be better off in a home without pets and with someone who can run him often and put in the time to train him since he has separation anxiety.  We are located in Westminster, MD and we'd like to get him a home ASAP, as the person whose dog was bit is unwilling to live in the home until the dog is no longer on the property. None of the dogs pictured are the one that was bit. He had no issues with other dogs prior. Contact Kenai at  4439740674  April 24, 2024, 1:18 pm

Story
. Harvey is our resident love bug. He wants nothing more than ear scratches and belly rubs. Harvey will nudge you ever so gently to get your attention for more rubs. He has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks. Harvey also enjoys jogging with his human companions. He would do best in a home where he is the one and only. He is selfish and wants all the loving for himself. Harvey would do best in a home with older kids. He is crate trained and house trained.  He is part blue tick hound which gives him a cute, unique barkish howl.  Make Harvey your companion for life.  Harvey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and altered.Harvey is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada for adoption. ##1499366##
