Story
Charity is an engaging girl with a happy, lively attitude. Although not one for sitting still, she does know her sit command and also walks well on leash. She is eager to learn more and earn those training treats! After all, she loves you and she wants to please you! Yes, Charity is looking for an active partner and fast friend. She gets along with most dogs, but any dog friend needs to understand that she plays rough and loud. Charity shows signs of being housetrained, so she is ready to come right into your home and brighten your life.   ~ Est DOB: Mar 2023~ Intake weight: 48#~ Adoption details/application: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlApril 22, 2024, 10:15 am

Story
Hi, I need to rehome my 4 year old Border Collie Hazel. We are moving to Florida and my rental lease / landlord does not allow dogs. We love our dog, but must find a new home for her. Our friends and family cannot take her, so that’s why we’re looking to find someone to adopt her. She is smart, energetic and loves to play. She has primarily been a yard dog, is crate-trained and could be an inside or outside dog without much effort. Feel free to reach out with questions to see if Hazel is right for you. Thanks, Tony

Story
Patriot is a 3-year-old crate- and house-trained Border Collie/German Shepherd mix. He's quite handsome with his big brown eyes and medium-length black and white coat. He’s a sweet boy, full of love, compassion, and loyalty. He has the biggest heart and is very protective, but he requires an experienced dog owner because he can become anxious at times. Patriot likes to settle into a routine and would thrive in a calm household. He is a very active boy and loves to go for walks, but may require some reassurance along the way. Patriot will be a wonderful companion for the right owner. Story
This is Walker, a Border Collie mix.  He’s around 3 years old and weighs between 45 and 50 pounds.  If you look closely at him, you’ll see his heart in his eyes.  That’s because he is a true lover and an old soul, despite his young age. Walker wears a medium length, white and black coat which suits him well. In addition to his good looks, this boy is also a dog of great temperament; he gets along well with other dogs, kids and his foster’s cat.  Walker would be a fine family dog.  (posted 3/21/24, TN)    **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip .
