Because of his breeds, he will sometimes try to herd both children and cats; however, he does it instinctively with no aggression.Trevor will whine for a few minutes in the crate, but he eventually settles in. He is also fully house trained. She is sweet, a tad sassy and is 100% adorable!Colada plays well with her sister and an older dog in her foster home. She has not been around cats, but as a young puppy, she will learn to cohabit with them. She is good with kids, but is still at the mouthy puppy phase, so should be supervised with small children.Colada goes into her covered crate willingly for a treat and use of the "kennel" command. She may cry/bark for a couple of minutes, but settles quickly. She is working on house training but will use puppy pads if available. Colada is receptive to learning, very food motivated and eager to please!Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Piper is a loved and well trained dog. She knows many basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate). She’s good with older kids but not great with toddlers or very young kids. She’s good with most other dogs. She’s a great hiking buddy. She’s 3.5, I’ve had her since she was about 4 months old. Her father is a border collie and working farm dog, Piper inherited his intelligence and drive. My schedule doesn’t allow me to give her as much daily exercise and stimulation as she needs. Her boredom leads to aggression toward my older dog. An ideal situation for her would be an active person or couple, family with older teens, an adopter interested in agility training, a runner who needs a daily running buddy, or a farm or environment where she could have a “job.” Shes incredibly smart, affectionate, she just needs more exercise and activity than I can give her. She’s up to date on all shots, 42 lbs, and eats a standard diet (no known allergies).
