Brimer is a sweet gentleman! He is looking for a couch to lay on and a yard where he can stretch in the sun, and walks to sniff all the stuff! He is gentle with everyone, and loves car rides! All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog.                                                                              KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Toby is obedient and learns commands very easily. He comes when called, knows basic commands and even knows a few tricks  He was initially adopted from Diane's as a young puppy, November 2023. His previous owners became concerned with his behavior towards their three children, ages 10-3. He growled and snapped at the children a few times. He was fine 99% of the time but it was extremely scary for their kids and not something the family wanted to work with. He has never displayed this behavior toward the wife or husband. We have not seen this behavior but have found him to be very leery of men. He is very head shy and will submissively urinate and tremble around them. He was clearly not properly socialized with a lot of people or other dogs. He is a timid boy but once you get to know him, he will be your best friend. Slow introductions are necessary with Toby, we continue to learn new traits about Toby every day. He would do best in a all female household with NO children. Thank you for your interest in rescue. Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 17, 2024, 10:21 pm
