WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Oreo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Oreo, a delicious treat good any time of the day, hey hey, that's me! Just twist, lick and dunk along with me for a feel good moment anytime of the day! I have a cookie named just for me...well I haven't been around since 1912 so I guess I was named after the cookie. Either way, we're both sweet but get this, you won't have any guilt indulging in this Oreo!!! I'm only around 10months old and came in with a broken leg. We got me all fixed up and I can now run and jump and chase the other foster pups around!! I will hold that leg up every once in awhile but then I'm off on my next adventure using that leg just fine. I come in at the top end of the small category of 25lbs. I shouldn't get much bigger(taller) but may but on a few filling-out pounds. I'm a great size for any and all your action adventures but also a great size for being your BFF. I'm pretty quiet, have a super sweet disposition and get along great with other dogs. I could learn to tolerate a cat but it would probably be best if my home was cat free. I'm house and crate trained and let me tell you, that's a fantastic bonus for my new family. I also do well on the leash and love going for my daily walks! Do you need a BFF? A constant in your life? A lil cohort up for any crime you want to try? Hey, look no further, I'm just the gal you're looking for!!!!!

Animal Profile: Bradley  is a handsome male Boston Terrier mix, estimated to be 12 weeks old. He and his siblings along with their mom Georgia (See Picture) were owner surrendered and taken in by our rescue partner in Texas and is currently enjoying her foster home with children and resident dogs while getting ready for their trip to the PNW to find her forever homes.  Foster Update:  Bradley is a fun little puppy. He's very playful and interacts well with people and dogs of all ages. We are working on his potty training and he now makes noises when a pee/potty break is needed. He's mostly sleeping through the night except for a bathroom break as his bladder is still tiny. Highly food motivated and trainable. He’s starting to understand commands and does respond positively to treats. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal Profile: Wrennley  is a darling female Boston Terrier mix, estimated to be 12 weeks old. She and her siblings along with Their mom Georgia (See Picture) were owner surrendered and taken in by our rescue partner in Texas and is currently enjoying her foster home with children and resident dogs while getting ready for their trip to the PNW to find her forever homes.  Foster Update:  Hi there! My name is Wrennley and I love exploring! I am a go-getter who likes to play. I’ve got great energy, and boy oh boy am I smart! I pick things up really quickly but you know how that goes, when it’s too easy, it can get boring, so I’ve got a couple of prerequisites to training. I like a challenge because that means treats! And I like to know you are giving me as much attention as you expect me to give to you. I’m so smart I even taught my sister to sit so we can get out of the crate faster. I am good with threshold training and know that I’ve got to be calm before I get my treats and food. I do well with nonverbal commands and that’s taught me not to rush in or out of the door without being invited. Once you have my attention, I’m all ears. Especially if you have a high value treat I can smell! I love playing with the chickens at my foster home. I’m not sure why they always run away from me, but as long as I can snatch an egg or two, I’m in and out of that coop in under a minute! I’m working on my potty training but for three months I’d say I’m doing pretty darn well. I haven’t quite figured out how to queue the human to let me out but as soon as I am out, I know exactly what to do. I like pets and I will let you rub my belly, but only if you warm me up to it. I’ve got lots of puppy energy but a small puppy battery so I get tired quick. If you let me get my wiggles out periodically throughout the day I’ll cuddle up with you and we can watch dog videos on YouTube. I’m looking forward to finding my forever home, are you going to be the one for me??   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Animal Profile: Finnley  is a handsome male Boston Terrier mix, estimated to be 12 weeks old. He and his siblings along with their mom Georgia (See Picture) were owner surrendered and taken in by our rescue partner in Texas and are currently enjoying his  foster home with children and resident dogs while getting ready for their trip to the PNW to find her forever homes.  Foster Update:  My name is Finley and if you are looking for a sweet friendly little guy then I'm the puppy for you. My foster family took one look in my big brown eyes and they were hooked. I have my little bursts of puppy energy and then I want to snuggle up by my people and take a nice little nap.  I sleep thru the night in my crate and only wake up occasionally. My potty training is coming along nicely for me being such a young pup and I am working on my leash manners when we take walks. I love to meet new people wherever we go and I am quite the charming little guy. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Trooper! He is a 2-year-old, 41lb Boston Terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Trooper is such an awesome dog! He is always in a good mood, wagging his tail, and friendly with everyone he meets. His happiness is definitely infectious to those around him. Trooper does well with other dogs and would be a great additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog. His ideal forever home would be one that takes him on adventures to explore and see as much of the world as possible. He is very spunky and playful and will make such an amazing dog for any lucky family that adopts him. Trooper is UTD vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Chula is a sweet and feisty little love bug! Don't let her age fool you! She is very spry! She enjoys walks each day~ Walks at a good clip! She enjoys relaxing on her bed and will let you know if she's in the mood to snuggle by you on the couch! And sleeping in your bed on occasion! Chula knows some basic commands- Sit & shake! High Five! Easy going and very pleasant in the home with impeccable house manners. House trained she goes to the door to cue you to let her out for potty. She may have some slight hearing loss, but when it comes to the rustle of the treat bag there's no issue! Her vision is good! Loves her humans- She would be best suited in a home where someone works from home or an active retired person that would like a pleasant walking companion. She is lovely & loyal, that said she wants to be your one and only pet in your home! Chula is not fond of other dogs. We are unsure of cats - but has not been interested when she's seen cats or rabbits on her walks- Possibly could live with one dog savvy cat. Her sweet demeanor makes her easy to fall in love with! Are you the family for Miss Chula? Senior dogs offer so much as companions - they are very special dogs! For further info please contact us! We thank you for your interest!

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Lucky is a young pup with an old soul that is incredibly mellow, affectionate and loyal. This precious Frenchie wants to be the center of your world and is always on the hunt for snuggles - he can often be found waiting patiently at the edge of the shower, resting his head on his foster mom's laptop, and sharing the pillow and blankets at bedtime. Lucky always wants to be close to his companion so he would prefer that you don't disappear from the house for work for long hours each day. When out in public, Lucky is a sweet, social butterfly that can be found cuddled up on the lap of a stranger or getting pets from a passerby. He is quick to win over the hearts of others. Lucky has learned a lot from the resident dog - a 5-year-old French Bulldog - including how to: Walk on a leash Run up and down stairs Use the dog door for potty breaks Play tug-of-war Chew a bone (Lucky's favorite pastime) Lucky has a condition called megaesophagus which requires him to take daily medicine and eat three smaller meals each day out of the cutest doggie high chair. This routine has helped him hold down all his food and start to gain some much-needed weight. A true best friend, Lucky is waiting to see if you are his match!

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Dear Future Family, My name is Luna Lou. I am 3 and new to Bulldog Haven. Here are the most important things you should know about me: 1. I only want to cuddle and be with you. It could be intermixed with the occasional short walk. And by short, I mean you'll be dragged to the spot I will do my business and immediately back to the front door. 2. I really do best in a calm environment. Don't tell my foster mom, but the other loud foster dog really scares me. I start shaking and refuse to go near him. But once he stops being annoying, I am fine again. 3. I'd probably be ok with older children who understand I do best with a quiet home. 4. I am ok with other dogs as long as they are non-reactive. If they ignore me, I'll ignore them. Also, we keep our toys and food separate, I'm cool with that set up. 5. I don't know how I'd be around cats, but seeing as how I like to bark at the squirrels that come up to the window, I'd probably chase the kitties. So I'm not sure it'd be an ideal situation. 6. My biggest issue is my allergy situation, which is being assessed. I am very itchy and it causes bigger problems. So while all the doctors are working at helping me try to keep that under control, I'll be in foster care. Once we have a good idea of how to manage the itchiness, I'll be adoptable. But should you think I'd be a good fit for your family, please put your application in! Sniff, sniff, woof! Luna
