Talk about a total LOVE BUG! So deserving of finding his own home, we promised this incredibly handsome boy a new chance at life when we rescued him from a shelter down south after he had been hit by a car. We made sure that Pluto received the medical care he needed and a skilled veterinary team was able to save his leg!  He now enjoys life using his three strong legs (quite gracefully) and only uses his saved leg to balance.  Pluto LOVES people (both adults & children) and soaking up as much affection as possible ♥ He is such a genuinely happy boy & loves to please! Pluto does prefer to be your one & only pet in the home, but he promises to fill every corner of your heart with love. www.mostlymuttz.org House Trained Requires a physically fenced in yard Great with older children and adults (Pluto has not lived with young children, therefore we will only place him in a home with children ages 12+) Prefers to be your one & only pet in the home Weight: 62 pounds Pluto is being fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania). #handsomehunk #mostlymuttzrescue #totallovebug #adoptable #incredibleboy Visit: https://www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/ to submit an application for Pluto Mostly Muttz Rescue PA Kennel License: 10872 ##397632##

Story
Meet Bailey! This boy enjoys car rides, sunbathing in the yard, short walks, zoomies in the yard, and being chased by his canine friends. Since living with his foster sister he has become more vocal when playing but still remains submissive. Bailey is happy sleeping alone on his bed but will cuddle with you. Bailey isn’t particularly food motivated, but he very much enjoys cleaning out yogurt containers, carrots, chicken, cheese, eggs, and pizza crust (in moderation of course). Once he’s comfortable with you, be prepared for Bailey to jump on you in the mornings and force kisses on you and jump for joy when you come home. He will take a few meetings before he comes out of his shell, but this boy is very much worth the time investment! Must have a physically fenced yard.   Bailey is located in Birdsboro, (Berks County) Pa ♥ If you are interested in Bailey and would like to give him the loving home he deserves, please contact Mostly Muttz! You can apply to adopt Bailey at https://www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/. Demi is a total love bug. A little shy at first, she warms up quickly. Her first week in PA foster, Demi is getting accustomed to the sights and sounds of her new foster home.  Demi most enjoys play time with her new fur friends, peanut butter bones, her avocado stuffy, and neck and back scratches. Crate trained and working on potty training, sweet Demi will be a perfect addition to most any family! 2-week update: It’s been two weeks since Demi made her way to PA rescue. And, she has made so much progress in this short time! Demi has gained a lot of confidence and some much needed weight. She enjoys walking on a leash. Potty training is going well. She doesn’t ask to go out, but waits for potty time until outside. She is working on basic training. She is treat motivated and very attentive which is helpful. www.mostlymuttz.org Great with children, dogs Cats unknown Does not require a fenced in yard Interested in meeting Demi in person? Story
***UPDATE*** Dandelion aka Dandi-Doodle as she is more affectionately known by, has been making great strides in her training. She is still timid and shy, but she has been able to overcome that more quickly. She loves running outside. Mostly in very large circles. And boy can she run. Dandi-Doodle loves sleeping in her bed under her foster mom’s desk when she is working at home. She is doing much better at giving cues that she needs to go outside and do her business. She is consistently going outside to potty, but does have an occasional accident from time to time. She has recently learned the “sit” command. And she knows that before she eats, she must sit and wait. She also will sit and wait patiently for the door to open to come back inside from going potty. She is very polite like that. She is great with kids and loves chasing after her foster brother Marley (lab mix). And she jumps like a Kangaroo. We are still working on when the appropriate time to jump is. Dandelion is a delight and would be a great addition to any family. Dandelion is a sweet pup. She loves lounging and cuddling. She loves to play with her foster brother Marley. She is very gentle with kids. Dandelion is a shy and somewhat timid pup, but once she gets comfortable around her new home she is a love bug. She loves a good chew toy and laying under your legs while you cook. She is still learning how to tell her foster family when she needs to use the bathroom. But she has done very well going outside to do her business. She would be a delight for any home looking for a sweet and loveable pup. And who can resist those ears. Dandelion will be available for adoption on or after 3/24/2024 Dandelion is being fostered in Newtown (Bucks County), Pennsylvania). Story
Small and sweet, little Teeter and her littermates found themselves being given away for free at an out of state grocery store parking lot.  Thankfully rescue was contacted about the situation and the three remaining puppies were brought to safety.  Teeter has spent the last few weeks in foster with her littermates out of state until she was able to move to her current foster in PA at eight weeks of age.  She has been spayed and is up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations. Teeter is a WONDERFUL little girl and has been one of the best puppies her foster has had in awhile (that's saying a lot)!  She enjoys playing with toys and taking long naps.  At a mere 7lbs, we do not believe she will grow to be much more than 35lbs and may have some type of terrier in her, despite the boxer label.  We can't be sure of their breed.  She is doing wonderfully with crate training and is quiet when crated.  She sleeps through the night.  She loves to lay on her person's chest when in snuggle mode, but will also easily fall asleep on a soft dog bed. In foster, she is busy learning to become comfortable with wearing a harness and collar (xxs for this tiny lady right now), getting a head start on potty training, getting used to car rides and spending time with other dogs of all ages.  Teeter is a really great little puppy and will make a wonderful addition to any type of family or home. Teeter will be available to go to her furever home on or after 4/19/2024 Teeter is being fostered in Exeter (Berks County), Pennsylvania) Great with children, other dogs, cats Does not require a fenced in yard www.mostlymuttz.org You can apply to adopt her at https://www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/ Mostly Muttz Rescue PA Kennel License: 10872 ##2008187##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Nala is a stunning 10 year old petite pittie mix. Even though she's getting older she is full of energy ! A family that can be very active with her and take her out on walks/hikes/runs as well as someone who has a fenced in yard would give her the opportunity to fully flourish. She is defenitly a people dog and loves to be with her human/ humans. She'll even love to go on car rides with her new family. She is an extreme attention hog and would be best suited for a home where she could receive all the attention and not have to share,as she can also be pretty selective with other animals. She currently resides in a home with 2 small children and does well with them, however she does get super excited at times and forgets that she needs to be careful around them so she doesn't knock them over. She is leash trained and needs to be crated when home alone but doesn't love to be in her crate for long periods of time. She is currently taking something to help her deal with her separation anxiety and her new home would need to be ok with administering her 1 pill a day. A family that can be home with her quite often would be a good fit for her. If you're looking for a lifetime companion that will stay by your side, then Nala might be the one for you ! Story
Calling all Pitty lovers! Synclair the roughly 1.5 year old, 45lb male Pitbull is up for adoption! He is blind but don't, "pity him it doesn't hold him back one bit. Hello everyone, my name is Synclair! I was an owner surrender for no fault of my own; my family just couldn't keep me and had been very sad to let me go. They tell me I'm blind, but honesty I don't think I am at a disadvantage. Loud household noises don't frighten me at all, and I am a smart pup who can learn the layout of my environment quickly. I do best with a routine, it helps me know what to expect and curb some slight anxiety. I'm a sweet gentle boy who absolutely loves everyone. My favorite things include snuggling, playing with my toys, and getting treaties. I Would love another pup in my forever home, someone to play, snuggle and romp around with when my humans are busy, so I don't get lonely. I walk okay on the leash with some guidance from my foster mom, and I have mastered getting up and down stairs! I am also quite skilled at getting up into the car for rides around town. Still working on my relationship with my crate, I have been doing really well sleeping in my crate at night now. I do cry out when my foster family leaves me in the crate to go out on the town without me, however I settle down eventually. I ring a bell that my foster family has set up for me by the door when I want to go outside; this has helped me well in eliminating my accidents. However, they tell me regression is common in new environments. My foster mom says I am a smart boy and will catch on quick in my new home with a routine. Still working on some manners, I am still a big puppy, and little cheeky. My foster mom has a full house with lots of noise so when I get caught doing something I shouldn't, I'm very easily redirected. My foster family includes two small children, and other than occasionally bumping into them when they are too quiet (which is not often), we get along great! I really love to chow down on my dog food, a puzzle feeder would be best, so I take my time and not eat too fast. I Would be okay with a dog friendly cat that didn't mind me sniffing and being all up in their space. I do love to play but I am only mildly energetic, mostly I am calm cool and collected. I will get excited when you come home after being away, but what dog who loves you wouldn't? I have been Microchipped, neutered, vetted, and up to date on vaccines. My foster mom says I'm truly a sweet and special dog that will make one lucky family happy. If I sound like a good fit for you, please apply! Currently being fostered in Reading PA. Story
Meet mama Tofu! This sweet mama was brought into an overcrowded shelter partner very close to giving birth. In fact, she gave birth less than 48 hrs after being in our care! She gave birth to 9 beautiful babies who have moved on to their forever families and now it is mama's turn! She has some old battle scars on her face from an unknown past, but she won't be getting any more of those. She is the sweetest girl. She loves to cuddle and nap and snore on the couch, but also gets the zoomies every once in a while! They don't last long, though. Tofu prefers to be the only animal in the home. While she has done well around some male dogs she prefers her own space. Tofu has been around people and children and has done well. However in her forever home she would prefer her own space and would prefer an adult only home. She requires a fenced in yard. Tofu is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped Zoes House Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608
