Story
Cali is a sweet, old girl who is losing her home through no fault of her own. Her doggy sibling, Sadie Jacob, has already been adopted through Paws New England and now Cali Jacob is hoping its her turn. Cali has a wonderful (former family) whose new child is significantly allergic to dogs; hence the re-homing. Her owners have already moved to another city and her grandparent owners stayed behind to take care of Cali until she could find another family. Cali is such a sweet senior who is perfectly content to stay with her people on the couch or laying by their feet. She is not a barker; sometimes you hardly know she is there. This girl is completely house broken. She hasn't spent much time in a crate, because it's not necessary. She is a very well behaved old girl. Cali has no separation anxiety, but its obvious she misses her doggie sister, Sadie Jacob, because she seems to be looking for her....time will heal.Cali is fine in the car, no carsickness. She's fine around young children and other dogs. Cali has had a wonderful, spoiled life with her current owners and is looking for the same lifestyle in a new home to finish out her years. She can be left alone at home without issue, but since both her current family and her previous one had someone home most of the time, we feel this type of arrangement would be the best for this girl, especially due to all her recent life changes. If you want a special girl who will always be there as a loving companion, don't wait to give Cali a final forever home.Name: Cali JacobBreed: Boxer/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 8 years (estimated)Weight: 39.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $350.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently: Texarkana Tx IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
