Meet Maralyn, the five-year-old fifty one pound Pitt mix. Maralyn is bursting love and joy. Her amiable and gentle nature is evident in her interactions with visitors, as she refrains from barking or growling. She harmoniously coexists with the two resident pugs. Marilyn's obedience and eagerness for affection make her a delightful companion. Her sweet and loving disposition will undoubtedly bring immense joy to her future adoptive family. Maralyn was found on a busy freeway with a significant leg injury back in December. She has since had surgery and made a full recovery thanks to therapy and her amazing foster family. The adoption fee is $750 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Summer, Summertime! Meet Miss Summer Tate, the happiest, goofiest, most lovable Velcro puppy you’ll meet. Summer’s fosters say, “she’s a literal baby who loves to be held and constant cuddle is a must. She is always with me or my husband, she’s a people’s dog for sure. Her personality is one of a kind and she keeps us smiling every day.“ At just 4 months and around 18 lbs this beautiful girl had a rough start in life. Pick up by the Houston SPCA, Summer was malnourished and had lost all her hair due to Demodex mange. Miss Summer was happy to leave that life behind and has happily adjusted to life in a home without hesitation. She is a little protective of her bowl (only with dogs) but listens so good to correction. This bundle of joy loves to chase the tennis ball, play with her stuffed toys, and like to jump in the shallow end of the pool. Summer is doing amazing with potty training - she almost has it down 100%! Her foster also described Summer as “one of the easiest fosters we’ve had. Puppies can be a lot of work, but she just gets it. Roscoe is a sweet, older gentleman that just wants a soft couch to nap on and lots of cookies. He loves people and has the nicest manners. He will sit and shake your hand if you have a treat.
