Spud is a total love! He has met dogs of all sizes, and has been wonderful with everyone. He is too interested in cats so a feline-free home would be best for him. Spud does well with his house training and is crate trained. Spud is HIGH ENERGY so he will absolutely need to go to a home that can dedicate time every single day for physical activity. He also needs to go to a home with a fenced yard and a dog door. If you're ready for a running/hiking/outdoors buddy, Spud is your guy!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. In a world of paws and wags, there's a tale to be told, Of Tase, a Bull Terrier mix, brave and bold. At fifty pounds, he's a bundle of fun, Waiting for a family, maybe you're the one? Just a young pup, not yet two, With a heart so vast and love so true. Potty trained, crate savvy, a clever mind, In Tase, a forever friend, you'll surely find. Athletic and spry, with a zest for play, He leaps over fences, in a joyful ballet. But when folks are home, he'd rather not stay In his crate, preferring your company, night and day. Other dogs? He likes them, it's true, But Tase needs a home where he's taught what to do. He's a tad stubborn, yet smart as they come, A bit of training, and he'll be second to none. He knows where treats are, a food lover indeed, An active owner is just what he'll need. Training, stimulation, and boundaries set right, With these, Tase will be an absolute delight. And when the day's done, and the stars align, He'll lean in for snuggles, this friend of mine. Gentle and calm, with a heart that glows, He's the buddy you need, the one everyone knows. So here's to Tase, a gem yet to shine, In search of a home, loving and kind. Adopt this sweet soul, let him into your life, Together, you'll conquer joy, love, and strife.   Hi! My name is Tase and if my foster moms cute poem didn't convince you I'm amazing, maybe this info will! I am a 45lb, almost 2 year old Bull Terrier Mix.  I'm a happy dude who likes to play. I enjoy chewing toys but I'm not destructive and I even know where the doggy toy box is at my foster home. Sometimes I just grab a toy and play by myself for a while. I'm also really great at sharing toys with my doggy friends. We can play tug for a while but if they really want the toy, they can have it. That's because I get along with every dog I've met from my three foster babies who climb all over me to my grumpy old foster siblings who want to be left alone. While I like playing with toys, I also just like to sit on your shoes, lean against your legs, and snuggle on the couch. I like to play and run around but I'm actually a pretty calm guy.  In addition to being amazing with other dogs, I am house trained and crate trained as well. I am also great with humans, but I would probably do best with older kids because I am a thick boy who likes to lean against human legs and sit on human feet. I don't think the little kids can hold me up. Since I am such a curious boy, I should go to a home without cats.  I would really love a family who will provide me with some physical and mental stimulation. I'm very food motivated which makes me a quick learner!   If you need a new doggy bestie, please apply at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication .  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 17, 2024, 1:55 pm

Story
Laika- the happiest, bouncy girl who rolls on her back for love and pets with anyone she meets. She is very submissive and gentle with people. She plays awesome with male dogs and enjoys it! Watch her adoption video here! She is quiet in her crate and well behaved. She has great manners. She is around 60 pounds and estimated to be around 3 years old. Though with rescue, we never have any guarantees on age or breed, we think she may be a boxer pit mix. What we do know for sure is…. Laika is a happy and friendly girl, it seems like her tail never stops wagging! She loves new people and greets them as if they were old friends and can’t wait to lean into them for all the pats! This bubbly personality translates to dog and cat friends as well! Laika did amazing meeting two resident cats at the rescue, and when she was swatted a few times, took it like a champ! She really just wants to play and have a good time. Who can be mad at her for that? If you have a fun and uber dog savvy cat who would love a companion look no further than Laika! When she was introduced to several different dogs, she had the time of her life! We usually only introduce 1-2 at a time but with Laika she was ready for more friends and was excited for the playgroup full of goofballs. She prefers her friends to be rough and rowdy like her when it comes to play style! Laika is currently being fostered in Texas and spends her days running around the backyard tumbling around with her 4 legged foster sibling. She gets very vocal with her play which is sure to tell you she’s having a good time! Laika is very intuitive in other dog’s behaviors and is comfortable expressing her boundaries if they are pushed, then right back to rough housing again! Though she enjoys a good romp and tug of war game, she also knows how to wind down when the time is right. She loves getting on the couch and worming her way into that perfect spot beside you. Her foster family has even nicknamed her “Licka Laika” because she covers you in big open mouth kisses as soon as you plop down! She’s one of those snuggle bugs you always find yourself with a million pictures of to show off to your friends and your Starbies barista of course. Speaking of friends, meet your little’s new bestie! Laika lights up with children and gives them the best gentle kisses. She’s a big softie and wants to hold them… or be held by them we think it’s cute either way! Since some of her excitement is just too much to hold in her thickums silky body, she gets a little jumpy to say hello, so the sturdier the kiddos, the better. When she met several staff member’s kids she was so happy! With a quick curt “no” she stopped her welcome jumps and melted at the kid’s feet for love. With continued correction and positive reward from her family, we are confident she will learn quickly how to navigate small children. Laika is currently fostered right now with children above age 8 who she makes laugh daily with her “loud butt noises”. We don’t judge girl! She’s just a big goofball full of love to give! We hope you’re ready for a lifetime of giving belly rubs because that’s what this girl is all about at the end of a long day… or anytime in between! Whether you’re looking for a dog for your home or apartment? She is your girl! Since Laika has tons of energy to give she will do best in a home with another dog and the opportunity to play often. Laika is a strong and curious on leash(those smelly smells, am I right?) so will need continued leash training, but she is very receptive and eager to please. She enjoys regular walks on her harness with her foster family in the neighborhood greeting all the people and pups that pass her. If you are looking for an all around 10/10 ride or die bestie submit your application now or you’ll miss out on the dog of a lifetime! Currently fostered in Texas- Laika is ready to transport to her forever new home! Don't miss out on this amazing girl! Story
Oh my heck this boy!! Xander Lane will for sure keep you on you toes in the absolute best way. He is goofy, loving, full of personality, and will always keep you entertained and laughing. He's the type of dog that doesn't even necessarily need to be doing anything, just existing and he'll still make you smile with the cute little expressions he makes. One of my favorite things about him is how happy he is all the time and of course the way his tongue peeps out of his mouth. He instantly makes us smile and we know he'll make you smile too. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/MG2VrOkorno?si=lfTSvRujHmhikXsz Xander Lane is a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 46 lbs and is full grown. He is the perfect fun size, not too big and not too small. He is exceptionally dog friendly and loves to make doggy friends. He is best friends with an 80 lb male that is just as goofy as he is and they love playing together. He also met a massive cane corse who is triple he size and he wasn't intimated by him or anything. All he wanted to do was play with him and Xander even took a correction from the big guy for playing too rough and did beautiful with the correction. Xander would love to be adopted out to a family that has another dog that he can play with and romp around in the back yard with. He also would do best in a home with a backyard. He loves to be outside, rolling around in the grass and just living his good ole doggy best life. Xander is medium energy that will require exercise and mental stimulation. He's not a marathon runner nor will he require that much exercise but a good romp in the yard, short run in the neighborhood, and I'm sure would also make a great adventure companion in the mountains. He will need to polish his leash skill and learn some basic obedience manners but he is treat motivated and eager to please. Which will help make any additional training that much more enjoyable. To our knowledge, he is crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in his forever home. We are willing to test Xander Lane with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
