Story
Ruthie is an 8 year old purebred, champion show dog. Shortly after receiving her championship, she had a leg injury and her owners discovered that she had a hereditary eyelash condition so they decided not to breed her. She was adopted by my Nanna several years later who adored her until she passed 3 years later. We inherited her and have LOVED having her, but since having our daughter we struggle to give her the attention she craves and we now have a second on the way. Ruthie is gentle with children (even when they’re not gentle with her) and our daughter loves her. She does ok with other dogs although she doesn’t necessarily enjoy them. She would thrive in a home with no children or other pets with an owner who wants an affectionate, cuddly, low maintenance dog. She is older but very healthy.
