Story
🐾 Meet Dusk Waller! 🐾 Introducing Dusk Waller, a delightful Cairn Terrier mix puppy who carries an urgent plea for a loving home, being from one of the areas in the US where puppies face the highest risk of euthanasia. Choosing to adopt Dusk saves her life and opens a space for another puppy in dire need. Dusk's personality is a beautiful blend of playfulness, sweetness, curiosity, and cuddliness. She relishes playing with her siblings and indulging in plenty of restful naps. Her life joyfully revolves around the quintessential puppy routine: eat, sleep, play, repeat. To catch a glimpse of her adorable antics and see her in action, check out her video here: https://youtu.be/-Q_Sk0Mlby8?si=3e1JPKPV4tXdkBQL As Dusk is still very young, she needs a family committed to nurturing her growth through consistent training, socialization, and plenty of love. Her new family will need to continue her potty and crate training and give her daily exercise to help her develop into a well-adjusted and happy adult dog. When Dusk is old enough, she will be the perfect companion for neighborhood walks, scenic hikes, or simply strutting her stuff around the community. Adopting Dusk promises not just a pet but a loving companion offering endless affection and puppy kisses in return for your care and attention. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet soul, Dusk Waller is eagerly waiting to start her new life filled with love, play, and lots of cuddles. Are you the forever family that Dusk has been dreaming of? 🐶❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6602f9d470847f21d20b8af1 Please email Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

This boy was very happy to be the center of attention, but that made it a bit hard to get pictures. Look at that face, those ears, those beautiful brown eyes. So handsome. Anyway - meet Jack Flash. We think he’s a Berger Picard/ Carin Terrier mix, but we know he’s a great dog. He weighs around 40-45 lbs., he’s neutered and current on his vaccines. Jack is smart,he’s a quick learner, he’s house trained and gets along with other dogs. One fun fact about Jack is he loves being with his people and going on car rides. Jack Flash is located in northwest Washington state and transport can be provided. If you’re interested in the handsome boy, email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Zizzle - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Zizzle, a fun little name to say for a fun lil pup to come running your way!! I'm somewhere between 5 and 6 years old they're guessing cuz I'd much rather snuggle with you then play! I'd be the perfect companion pup for a retired or work from home person. I'm perfectly happy and content to be wherever you are. I am house and crate trained. I know how to use the doggie door and can let myself out to do my business. I'm a tad bit shy at first meet but once I feel comfortable I'm super sweet and affectionate. I also get along great with the other foster pups, although I haven't met a cat yet. With my laid back go with the flow personality if introduced properly I should do ok with them too! But it seems that I'm pretty scared of men and will need lots of patience to feel comfortable with them. I come in at just 9lbs which makes for me being a great lil companion to share your lap watching your favorite TV programs or taking leisurely strolls thru the neighborhood. My mediumish coat is not shed free but it is low shedding. I only need to be brushed a few times a week. Those times are some of my favorite, cuz it's you and me time!! Are you in need of a BFF, a constant in your life to share all your going on's? It so happens I'm in need of a family. We could be a match made in heaven, just fill out my adoption application and we can find out!!!

Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. **** WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE VERY SPIRITED PINK AS SHE HAS A PENDING MEET & GREET WITH A PREVIOUS ADOPTER. **** As per usual it seems these days that the call was put out for the need from commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of Omaha. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. But despite where they lived & were going to be used to make money off their backs, they are always the most precious bundles of joy. Pinks’s life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. She was one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued Pink & 7 other baby dolls. 4 of those were possibly her siblings. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Pink how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as she is in her foster home. Pink, her siblings & her friends were bought back to the WA state where she is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Pink foster mum & dad said, don’t let this cute little face fool you. She thinks she is a big dog in a little body. This girl is not shy & likes to think she is the boss. Especially when it comes to food. Absolutely obsessed with food. This carin girl is so sweet though & her foster mum gives her kisses & she soaks it all up. She is obsessed with her foster dad & is quite demanding with him. She is a sweetheart though & loves her toys & can get up to puppy mischief. She does love her foster siblings & running & chasing them & playing with them so she definitely needs a younger dog in the home. She said she adores being picked up & held & carried around to see what is going on. But can also be very independent & be a talker when she wants something from you. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over her head that’s not outside. Pink is a wonderful eater & is not shy about eating & has not been since the day we got her & her foster family took her home. In her foster home she eats clean, meaning fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins & supplements. She is obsessed with her food & treats. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She will also want to sleep in bed with you or with her dog friends snuggled up. She is such a fun puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for her past. She loves everyone & is very spirited shall we say. She would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. She is a puppy & we have not taken her out anywhere. She still needs to learn her puppy manners. Pink rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when she went to be sold & when we got her & going home with her foster family & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to her though. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Pink as you can imagine spent the first part of his life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Pink where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. She is now good with her baths & being dried by the hairdryer. Pink is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Pink has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster home & she is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. She absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home roughly the same size for her to thrive in. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Pink was adopted & is being returned to the rescue due to being too dominant with the older dog in the home. She has a big personality & would need another very confident dog in the home to play with. Pink is roughly 10 lbs & he is 9 months old & ‭a carin terrier‬. She has put on weight since being in her loving foster home. What she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she had 2 baby teeth removed, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, she is microchipped, up to date on her last shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Pink with paying for her from a commercial breeder. Bringing her to WA with her travel/flight costs, her transportation to WA. All of her medical care in WA etc & bringing him to WA then her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on this little lady. Pink has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not her around small children so we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Pink was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Pink’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Pink potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Pink & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Pink who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for the special sweet little Pink. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Pink has an adoption fee of $1585 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
