Meet Sister! Sweet gentle girl who is looking for a bed to lay in and soak in some sun. She would love a home where she can run around and snuggle up with you! She does ok meeting dogs outside but should be the only dog in the household. Will also need a strong person to handle her on leash. Notes from a volunteer who took Sister out: Sister is a 2 years old, Mastiff, Cane Corso, with the most soulful eyes. We have taken her out several times now. Her first intro to my 2 small dogs, she seemed to want to charge up to them. With each meet, she has calmed down. She now walks along with them as if she has known them forever. From what I observed, she seems to get along best with dogs who are calm and respectful, not overly jumpy. Sister rides well in the car and is a good walker. She is very strong though and if she sees a squirrel, she is like a fast sports car going from 0-Fast very quickly. What works best for me when walking her is to be alert and hold onto her leash tightly. She loves sitting for treats. Treats are one sure way to her heart.

Ramona is very friendly with other dogs once they get along. She's with other schnauzer and 3 cane corso in our house. She's 3yrs old but never been trained per old owner. She's been up to date with her vaccine. The behavior issue we have with her only is that she howls.. I had 2x complaints because of her howling. We want someone to adopt her that would have time to train and love her.

Meet Nemo! Nemo is a sweet Cane Corso.  He's super clumsy, he still has to get used to his long legs. He enjoys playing and exploring.  He does great in a crate and even sleeps all night long.   He is learning how to use a doggy door.  He is just about completely housetrained.  He loves any and all toys.  He is super affectionate and loves cuddles.  Currently Nemo lives with a Chocolate Lab who he does well with.  He has met a cat but was too intimidated by her hisses.  He is working on simple commands but seems to be a fast learner. Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match.
