We believe that young Lokey is a Cane Corso mix, and if you like big dogs, you've just gotta meet him! He's about 2 1/2 years old, and he's neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He has a black coat with white markings, and sweet brown eyes. He loves playing with tennis balls! We welcomed him from an overcrowded shelter, so he's a true rescue dog, and he has lots of energy. We think he'd do best in a family with teens or older, and with a Big Dog person who can give him training and help him channel that energy. If that sounds like you, please come on over and meet playful Lokey!

Hi, I'm Valerie and I'm 4 years old! I'm looking for an experienced dog owner that can play with me, walk, and train me to be the best dog I can be! I'm lovable, playful, protective, and love treats! Recently, I got a new job and with other personal things I've found it hard to have time for Valerie. Valerie is a sweet dog and loves people but since she's a Cane Corso she's always cautious of new people. But once she warms up to you, she'll nudge her toy into you to play with her. She needs a experienced dog owner because she wasn't trained or socialized well when she was younger by the person who had her first. She's a barker but only ever outside, pulls on the leash, and not good with other animals. She needs someone that can train her in these areas. She is house trained, she potties outside and knows to get into the pen to sleep at night. She's most suitable in a home where she's the only pet. Please give her a loving home.

Karma came to SGER after she was found by Glynn County Animal Services tied up outside an abandoned house, starved, with a horrible head wound, and totally shut down. The shelter manager contact us to pull her so we could give her the medical treatment and love she desperately needed. Karma is a sweet and playful girl that needs a calm and loving home. We would prefer her to go to a home with an established dog already in the home. She feels most comfortable when she has another dog to depend on and show that the people around her are safe to love. She's a wonderful and just amazing dog that has been dealt an awful hand with horrible humans in the past. Once you gain Karma's trust, cherish it. She will be the best dog you can imagine, but you cannot yell at her, spank, or treat her too roughly without her shutting down. Gentle redirection when she does something wrong is all she needs. The over age 5 recommendation is because kids can be a little rough or loud which can scare Karma.
