Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Meet gorgeous, 125lb Goliath! This wonderful king of a dog is looking for a permanent stable home after being bounced around a bit. Goliath has made best buddies with some of shelter staff and loves romping around in our fenced in areas and hanging out. He loves working for treats, and can't wait to find a home to bond with, a home that will keep him for the rest of his life. He has a medium energy level, and shows potential for being a great boy to enjoy some outside play, then head inside to snuggle and chill. Goliath is looking for an adult home with a yard, and would do best as an only pet. Found dumped in a park with a harness embedded in her and two torn ACL’s, we can’t blame you Graceson for not liking most people. This beautiful girl loves to love, if you are in her circle you are in!! As if she didn’t already draw the short straw in life, Grace has some neurological issues. Her brain (more specifically cerebellum) isn’t fully grown and never will be, so please excuse her goofy gallop and gait walk. That doesn’t stop Grace from being the happy go lucky free spirit she is! Don’t worry her friends at MHS along with her medical team are keeping a close eye on her and though she may look like she’s struggling, Grace is living her best life and not in any pain! Grace is available for adoption at the Meriden Humane Society.
