Gigi is a 63-pound, brindle, mix of big dogs (Maybe Cane Corso? Rotti? Boxer? Lab? Whichever one is your favorite.) and has a heart as big and as sweet as her spirit. She’s a super athletic, goofy 1-year-old who plays hard and excels at chilling. She is an excellent judge of character, so she takes a minute to assess new people before approaching. Gigi comes to life when she meets other dogs and responds well to social cues. She would thrive in a home with a canine sibling. Basic commands are a breeze for Gigi. At night she sleeps in her dog bed on the floor without a peep, but is open to snuggling with her humans in their bed if the need arises. She does great on a leash and is getting an A- in potty training. You might have to persuade Gigi to get into the car (i.e., pick her up and put her in), but once she’s in, she enjoys the ride. Gigi is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots; her adoption fee is $250. Beings that I came from a pretty rough background, I am a bit nervous with newbies…But once I trust you, buckle up and get ready for 80lbs of pure smoochiness and love! Just imagine the joy of having me leap into your life, but fair warning, I will test your balance as I lean in for never-ending snuggle sessions! Oh yeah, HOG ALERT! I prefer trotting through life with human buddies rather than any fluffy roommates, so prepare for all my affection to be solely yours! Older teenage humans are my favorite playmates, being a pretty big girl, I would hate to accidentally knock over little itty-bitty little ones. I am basically a professional squirrel exterminator, so having a good size yard for us to have big fun together would be a dream come true! One of my favorite things in the whole world (besides marinating in your affection) is running and playing around in the pond at the Sanctuary. I just love getting all spunky, sniffing out little critters, and zooming after toys! If you are interested in adopting me, put in an application at the MAS website (linked below)!
