Big Luna! This girl is definitely a big dog but she is actually as timid as can be! Luna is very shy when first meeting new people but is SUPER friendly once she feels comfortable. Luna has low confidence so she takes a minute to accept changes or new things. She really is a huge cuddle bug and is not aggressive even when shy! She actually thinks she is a lap dog! Luna was crated a lot in her first home. She was raised with kids and a cat. She was just too big for this family so spent most of her days crated. Former owner said she knocked the kids down and chased the cat. When younger she went for super long walks and got to explore the world but as she grew so did her strength so her walks stopped. Luna didn't get to really get out much from 6 months on. This is why she is very shy now. Luna knows basic behaviors, newly house-trained and is dog friendly with friendly dogs. She can be a bit obnoxious so she needs a friendly, playful, confident canine companion. We would LOVE for Luna to have a fenced yard so she can run wild and free and burn off some of her goofball shenanigans. She also loves to soak in the sunshine. We are also looking for a home that won't have to leave Luna crated for long work days. She does need crated when left alone but she doesn't need a life that's tons of crate time. She already lived that life. Luna is really a sweet, loving girl that still has lots of puppy left in her. She loves to carry toys all over, drag her blankets around and can definitely find fun when she is bored-> and not the kind of fun us humans love;) Luna new home will need to have time to spend with her, be patient as she learns the world and be ready for big beautiful giant dog! Our dogs are fully vetted. This includes spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies, microchipped, Heartworm and Lyme tested, worming, flea treatments, Heartworm prevention started and any other medical care needed. Foster to adopt dogs, simply means they live with you while receiving their care. Then you adopt once ready for adoption. Our adoption fee also includes 6-week group obedience class (value $125.) If adopting a puppy under age we cover spay/neuter at 6 months. Paws In Prison dogs will not be ready for their new families until they complete their program.
