Cahira!!! Love love love her❤️ She is gentle and loving. She has a kind spirit and would warm to whomever her person is, or family is. Cahira is a Cane Corso mix who wants nothing more than to love a family forever. She likes to fetch, gets along with other dogs, has been exposed to cats without reactivity (we have not tested the chase), love humans, loves her bestie Bolo, and would make a wonderful companion. She is house trained, trainable, and downright gorgeous. We have doggie dna for her, and will provide it for her adopter. Her bestie would be willing to work with her on recall patiently l. She likes to get out of doing anything you really want her to do by rolling on her back 🙄😂🐾 She identifies as a mountain goat and loves To climb on things. She will jump on you out of nowhere, and we are working on that with her. She is shy in public spaces (you can see her on Afternoon Live here: https://katu.com/.../i-pawd-it-forward-zhara-and-cahira Cahira is about 18 months. She is spayed, microchipped, vetted and ready to love her family. Her adoption fee is $500 If you are interested in adopting Cahira, please email us at pethelp@ipawditforward.org

Story
Meet Zhara, the incredible 1-year-old Cane Corso mix! Zhara's journey began as a lost soul in Battle Ground, where she roamed for nearly two months. Her determination and survival instincts led her over 7 miles to Ridgefield, where kind-hearted individuals spotted her. Thanks to their vigilance and our dedicated team, Zhara was safely secured and brought to I Paw'd It Forward, where she received temporary care while we searched for her original family. Although her previous home couldn't be found, Zhara is now ready to embark on a new chapter and meet her forever family. Zhara may seem a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she becomes your most loyal companion. Her affection and devotion to her chosen person are boundless. She absolutely adores playing with toys and frolicking in the backyard, but her true joy comes from being around people who shower her with love. Given Zhara's energetic nature, a home with a backyard would be ideal for her to burn off that youthful exuberance. Additionally, she thrives as the center of attention, so a household without other pets would allow her to give you all the love she has to offer. She doesn’t dislike other dogs or cats at all, she just plays chicken leg.. maybe she was a cattle dog in her previous life, so she just needs guidance on “no chicken legs (legg nipping)”. We practice with her often and she is learning❤️ Zhara was on our favorite show, Afternoon Live and you can watch her video here: https://katu.com/.../i-pawd-it-forward-zhara-and-cahira Are you ready to open your heart and home to Zhara, this sweet and affectionate pup who's eager to be your loyal companion? If you're looking for a loving and devoted four-legged friend, Zhara is waiting to meet you and become a cherished member of your family. 🏡🐾❤️

Story
Ladies and gentleman, the king has arrived and his name is King George! Let's go ahead and get the obvious out of the way and talk about how handsome this young fella is. I mean if you're a meat head lover, George is your guy. We hope you are fine with strangers coming up to compliment you about your dog because that is exactly what's going to happen when you go out on the town with King George. He'll love it too! He loves meeting new people and loves to show off his handsome good looks. Not only is this guy eye dropping, he has a great personality to match. He is loving and a gentle giant! He also loves to give kisses so be ready to slobbered on. Can he get any more perfect?! Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/h581ZoJSBYs?si=roBAs0v8lb8gjqCy King George is a Cane Corso mix approximately 3 years old and currently weighs a whopping 104 lbs. Although we do believe he is full grown, he may gain a few more pounds. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it’s always a mystery but its pretty safe to say he has some cane corso in there some where. This goofy big fella is dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced him to, big and small. Although he did do good with small dogs he will most likely do best in a home with other large dogs. He will play for short periods of time and is quite gentle with his play and respectful. If other dogs don’t want to play, he will respect them. His size can be intimidating to some dogs so he will be best placed with other confident aloof dogs in the home. George is very tolerant too! So tolerant that he got bullied by a small little scruffy dog that only weighed about 20 lbs and he actually bit him on the nose and George simply walked away! George would do good with other dogs in the home but also would be great as an only dog. He does not need the company of other dogs to feel comfortable and will be completely fine being the king of the palace. George also did great during is cat test. One of our resident cats smacked a few times and he was completely unphased by it. We do not know if George has ever lived with cats before nor can we guarantee that things won;t change once in a home. We do believe that with slow and proper introductions he can coexist in home with cats. George does great meeting new people and he may sometimes bark out of excitement but his little tail is just wagging away. George is medium energy and due to his size he would be best placed in a home with a backyard where he can stretch his legs and run. He has a well balanced energy about him but will require mental stimulation and excersice then he’ll be good to snuggle with you on the couch if you let him. George already knows basic commands such as sit and walks well on a leash but will need a strong handler. He is treat motivated and to make sure he remains the best doggie citizen he can be, he will need a family that has experience with big dogs. To our knowledge, he is crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in his forever home. We are willing to test King George with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
Animal Profile: Pebbles is an approximately 2-year-old, 65 lb female bully breed mix -- we think Cane Corso and/or Boxer.  She has a docked or bob tail and has recovered from cherry eye surgery.  She was friendly with people and dogs during her shelter evaluation.  Foster Update: I'm pretty sure Pebbles is a Bully/Boxer mix as she definitely has the personality to match!  She is very playful and energetic, loves toys and romping around like a goofball so her ideal home would include a yard. She does very well in her crate when it's time to quiet down, is quiet all night and does well for up to 7 hours while I am away. She is a shy and unsure with new people but once she is given some time to build trust she is very affectionate and loves to get pets and scratches. We have been spending the most time currently on leash training as she is big and very strong. She is food motivated, so smart and learns very quickly.  Training Update: Pebbles is thriving with formal training -- she has learned loose leash walking, place, recall basics, and not jumping up. She is working on her confidence with new people and in public. She is shy but tolerant with new people, and tolerant of dogs and cats. She would be well matched with a more quiet household and patient owners who are willing to work on building trust but won't coddle her entirely.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Includes Take Home Training Session Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog came into the San Bernardino animal shelter as a stray and was listed for euthanasia due to space and cherry eye.  She arrives in Seattle on 11/12 and will will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.  April 19, 2024, 6:03 pm

Story
Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Meet gorgeous Sadie, also known as "Rari (short for Ferari)! This stunning girl is a 2-year-old Cane Corso, weighing in at 78 lbs of sweetness! Sadie is looking for the perfect home with giant breed experience. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Sadie is currently in a foster home in Bonney Lake, Washington and is available for meet & greets to approved applicants. Please apply at https://www.doggedly.org/adoptable-dogs and select Sadie to apply for her! Sadie was originally a stray from Texas who was found wandering the streets of Houston with a standard poodle named Jonas. While Jonas was adopted quickly, Sadie was a young Cane Corso who was still learning to come into her own. Sadie spent several months in a foster home in Texas to learn how to be a good canine citizen! Sadie iwas happily adopted in the Seattle area in the summer of 2022, until her adopter became critically ill. Our hearts break for Sadie, because she is such an amazing girl. Not only is she a stunning specimen of a blue brindle Cane Corso, but she is also so sweet! Her parents renamed her "Rari shortly after adoption, short for Ferari, because Sadie has energy to spare! She is an active girl who loves to romp with other dogs. It would be best to find Sadie another giant breed companion, because this big girl loves to wrestle and rough play with other dogs. Do you love wet, slobbery kisses? Well, they are one of Sadie's specialties! She is a good listener and knows how to sit, lay, give her paw and sometimes, she even stays! She also somehow knows the command "Get out of the kitchen which is used frequently, because Sadie is a mega foodie! She is highly motivated by food and treats, which makes training a breeze for this smart girl. Sadie is impeccably kennel trained, and even puts herself in her kennel when needs a break, and goes into her kennel on command. Sadie enjoys walks, camping trips, play dates, road trips, and has gone just about everywhere with her family! She absolutely loves the company of other dogs, just as long as they don't mind some rough and tumble play. Sadie does well with small dogs and has been around them frequently on camping trips and in the home. While her owners are at the hospital, Sadie hangs out with her grandma's 3 small dogs and does well, but is separated for play time due to her size and energy level. Sadie has not recently been around cats in her new home, but had exposure to them during her time in the rescue. Sadie has been a cherished member of her family for the past year, and the decision to find her a new home that can keep up with her energy level is the best option for her. We would love to find Sadie, a family with mastiff experience who is active, engaging and has another big, friendly dog that she can cuddle with! Sadie will sleep just about anywhere around the house. She will come up in the bed for snuggles, but is miss independent and prefers to sleep by herself on the couch or in her kennel. Some other endearing facts about Sadie: she has the cutest wiggle butt when she's happy! She is also a mega chewer and loves hard, nylon toys and is very good at fetch! Sadie is very food motivated and very NOT picky. She is currently eating Kirkland chicken based kibble rehydrated with warm water, fish oil and glucosamine with some Kirkland canned wet food or home cooked food made with rice, ground turkey, sweet potato. Habit wise, she is fantastic at ringing her bells on the door to let you know she has to go outside to potty. She should be crated when left alone unattended while she gets settled, until she can be trusted not to chew on furniture. The cutest Sadie-ism of all is that her lip curls up on one side and gets stuck on her teeth from excitement when you're about to feed her. She drools, but waits patiently outside the kitchen while you prep her food. She waits for permission to chown down doesn't eat until you say "yes. Does Sadie sound like your dream dog? Then put in an application today and meet the love of your life!
