Story
Meet Teddy Bear, an amazing 4-year-old, weighing in at 68 pounds, eagerly looking for his perfect forever home! Originally given to us because of a move, Teddy Bear is a unique and special dog with his own delightful quirks. Though he may not actively seek cuddles, Teddy Bear loves attention and pets. While he may not snuggle on the couch, he eagerly joins his fosters for love and playtime on the bed every night, enjoying about 15 minutes of bonding before going to sleep in his own space. Teddy Bear has shown he can be friends with cats, passing his test with flying colors, even though his feline friends might not be as interested in playing as he is. Teddy Bear knows all basic commands, he is fully potty trained, and he loves outdoor adventures, walks, and car rides. But what really makes Teddy Bear special is his loving nature and sweetness. He loves company and would do great with someone willing to share adventures with him, help with his reactivity, and keep nurturing his potential. Teddy Bear isn't just a pet; he's a beloved member of the family waiting for his chance to bring joy and love into a new home. If you're ready for a furry friend full of personality and love, think about welcoming Teddy Bear into your life!

Story
Mortimer is one of our last remaining Carolina Dogs that came to us in a hoarding case last year. He was one of the shyest of the bunch, and has been slowly gaining confidence in a foster home. He's unsure of many things, but loves fluffy toys, especially those with a squeaker and trying new snacks (spray cheese is one of his favs!). Mortimer will need a home willing to work with him and help show him what being a family member is all about! He would do best in a home with a calmer dog and no cats.

Story
Sammie is a big rough and tumble sweetie who previously lived in a household with children and other dogs. She enjoys hanging out with humans or her canine pals. Sammie is a pro stick connoisseur and loves to carry her finds around the yard. While she did a great job meeting kids, she has lots of energy so may be a bit much for some little ones. Sammie is housetrained and loves to curl up on her bed after playtime!

Story
Rehoming a 2yr old male Shiba Inu, preferably to an experienced Shiba Inu owner. His name is Tadashi. Tadashi was purchased as a puppy from PetLand by his previous owners, and rehomed to us. I have trained Tadashi to do basic commands such as come & sit, place, down, and heel. However, he is not eager to please without food motivation. While he has lived with 4 other dogs, he would do best in a home were he is the only dog. While he does live with 2 kids, he would do best in a home with no kids. Patience is required for adapting. Shiba Inu's are known to not being overly friendly to strangers. He will require time and patience to warm up to you and your lifestyle. Once acclimated he is loving and affectionate on his own terms. He is not AKC registered but I do have all the paperwork from PetLand that his previous owner gave me. We don't want money, we just want him to go to a loving home.
