Story
Pet me, please!! Please meet Tora!  Tora means 'Tiger' in Japanese and she certainly lives up to the name. This tiny samurai kitty thinks she's bigger than she really is!   Tora (FCID# 01/15/2024 – 6) is a sweet and stunning tabby and white cat with amazing markings. She is only about a year old, and still has plenty of entertaining kitten personality! This sensitive little girl needs a moment to learn that you are her friend, but once she feels safe and secure, her personality will shine. When she gets to know you and has time to get to know her new home, she will be a great companion and a great addition. Tora is very playful, and she enjoys running and jumping and chasing after toys. She also enjoys watching birds, and particularly enjoys bird videos! This little lady is a low-maintenance girl…she is frequently just happy to hang out around the house. Tora’s foster family had multiple adult cats, and she got along well with all of them. There were also adult dogs in the foster home and although she did not directly interacted with them, she did not appear fearful of them in any way. Tora has a lot of love to give…all she needs is a forever home! Please submit our no-obligation adoption application for a meet and greet or to adopt:   https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Her brother Jin (FCID# 01/15/2024 - 7) is looking for his forever home, too.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Debbie S.)April 24, 2024, 5:31 am

Story
Layla is a loving cat. I had her since she was born. I found her mother on the street. Nurses her to health, found out she was pregnant. Kept 1 out of the 3. I had to give Layla away, but I want to give her to someone that would love her unconditionally.

Story
Meet Simba! This laid-back grey lad is living his best life, giving his caretakers all the love he has to offer. While it might not look like it in the photos (because we tried to get his best angles), he is a surprising 15 lbs. Even if he is quite the literal handful, he adores being held against your torso and over your shoulder. Simba probably won’t want you to put him down even if your arms are tired, but he is so sweet and adorable that we can’t fault him for wanting affection.  When FC trapped this guy, he was previously neutered, but no microchip was found. Given his size and people-friendly demeanor, we believe he is a former pet and not meant for a life on the streets. He has shown some interest in toys, like wands and feathers, and would benefit from a household that can engage him and help monitor his diet.  Simba seems to enjoy the company of other cats. We do not know how he would respond to dogs or children, but given his calm and gentle demeanor, he may be OK with proper introduction.   Simba is playing in our Willow Grove Shelter. Story
This orange and white tabby gal is Chloe! We like to think all our cats are “one of a kind,” but what really makes this girl unique are her burnt amber eyes. Just look at them! We can’t stop ourselves. Chloe prefers a slow approach, but once she feels comfortable, not only will she give you some slow blinks with those gorgeous peepers of hers, but she will also nuzzle herself into your hands for pets. This lady adores being scratched on her head and brushed all over. Chloe will also probably flop over for some belly time too. We’ve noticed she can be picked up, but it will be a quick snuggle -- being off the ground makes her a little unsure. We think once she’s in a calm home environment, that might change because she is so gentle and easy to handle. She has some interest in toys, which also might perk up once she feels rooted in a forever space. Chloe seems to be good around other kitties, but we do not know if she has met dogs or children.  Chloe is playing in our Willow Grove Shelter. Story
Please meet bonded pair Bella (black) and Cole (gray)!   Bella loves playing with toy mice. Bella would love to spend the day sitting and getting pets.  She loves to talk, too. Her fur is soft like mink . Bella is ok with being brushed but prefers to sit on your lap while you brush her. Of the two, Bella is the clown, rolling all over the place. Cole loves his scratching post.  He loves sitting high up on his perch, too.  If the other cats have a toy, he’s not shy and will grab and run. Cole loves attention and will ask for pets. He, too, would love to just sit in your lap and get pets . They were said to be a bonded pair, but like all siblings, they would have cat disagreements. Bella and Cole are playing and sitting on laps in our Millsboro PetSmart adoption center.  Please ask to meet them and offer them your lap so they can receive pets.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Denise P.)April 24, 2024, 5:31 am
