Story
Meet Agatha, who comes to us from the community, along with her 2 other sisters. Agatha is 7 months old, 35 lbs., and is ready to go to her forever home. She has started her first round of shots and is extremely healthy. Agatha is the shyer one out of the group and very smart. She likes to pancake crawl and is getting better each day on her leash walk training. She loves to roll in the grass and enjoys her cuddles. Agatha does not have a foster home, so she's currently living in boarding and needs a home, a family, and grass to roll in to call her own. She would be a wonderful addition to your family. Please reach out to obtain an adoption application.

Story
Handsome Bambino came to us as a stray in mid June and has been a great BAS resident. He`s almost 2 years old and is a happy boy (especially when a pool is involved!). Dog Day Out notes, 4/19/24:Bambino went on a hike at the beautiful Cates Farm Park in Mebane. He`s one smart and friendly boy. He pulled on the leash at first and would get excitable in the car, around other dogs, and when other people passed. But he is easily corrected with some instruction on the leash. He`s very treat-motivated and will sit for treats. After a hike, we went to the Mebane Dog Park, where he played with his tennis ball and hung out in the shade. Bambino is very loving and affectionate.Volunteer notes, 4/18/24:We had a great time in the play yard with Bambino today! He loved to chase balls and would bring them back and drop them politely for us to throw. When he sat down to chew on a ball, he did not want pets, but otherwise he was friendly and affectionate. He was very eager to get into the play yard but calmed down quickly.Dog Day Out notes, 3/16/24:We did a hike and picnic with Bambino. He does well with the car ride. Bambino was so well behaved. Pulls a bit on leash in the beginning but listens to certain commands. He enjoyed the hike and liked to carry his tennis ball most of the day. Foster notes, 12/22/23:Bambino is a great companion! He’s super loving with lots of hugs and kisses. He’s agile and likes to play, catching balls and ropes high up in the air and bringing them back for more fun. Bambino is immediately people friendly and can be dog friendly but needs a day or two to get used to them (nothing unusual). He loves going for walks in new places, car rides, and sleeping on the couch but he hates going out in the rain (understandably). Bambino is highly house trained. He can go the work day without having an accident and doesn’t get into anything bad — he just sleeps on the couch. He is sometimes chained in the backyard for a quick bathroom break when I’m home but can be left unsupervised for some time out there. Commands:Sit — very goodDown — goodStay — okay Come — very goodLook at me — good Bambino is truly a great, loving, fun dog and would be perfect for anyone looking for a best friend.Dog Day Out note, 10/7/23: Well, Bambino certainly knocks it outta the park being a great adventure buddy, eager to explore in the trails and a great car rider! He seemed to really enjoy our wa
