Story
Introducing Jasper, a 5 month old mixed breed male who weighs about 40 pounds. This handsome guy has an amazing and unique coat with patches of brown and gray. He has stunning blue eyes. Jasper is a sweet guy, he loves people of all ages and loves to play with other dogs. Jasper is potty trained at his foster home in Texas, but his new family should be prepared to do a little more training, as his routine in your home will be very different than what he is used to in a foster home in Texas. Jasper is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. Jasper's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday April 5th, and will be available for to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that he is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. Story
Betty is a gorgeous 2 month old mixed breed female pup who weighs about 15 pounds. She has a super soft cream and yellow coat and the sweetest face! Betty is super friendly and sweet. She is an outgoing pup and loves getting attention from her foster family! She loves to play with other dogs, people and toys. She was raised with his littermates and human children, and gets along great with other dogs and humans of all sizes. Her mom is pictured in the last photo, she weighs about 50 pounds. She has been working hard on her potty and crate training, but her new family should be prepared to do additional training in these areas, as her routine in your home will be very different than what she is used to in a foster home in Texas. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Story
Meet Atlas. While his DNA is very rich in dog breeds (18 actually), his appearance is quite unique, with two breeds as the main standouts. His face and ear structure look mostly Pitbull, but his "glass eyes", height, thick body (about 65 lbs), and mottled coat are distinct characteristics of his distant Catahoula Leopard dog relatives. Atlas loves a good cuddle and is the best hugger. Although he can be a little stand-offish around strangers at first, he warms up quickly to people of all ages. He does well with children and with other dogs that do not have as dominant of a personality as his own. He loves hikes, exploring, runs/walks, chasing balls and frisbees, playing tug, and chewing on toys. He will dig from boredom if he is left alone outside for long periods of time without sufficient engagement. He knows a few commands but usually prefers to perform for treats. Atlas is an affectionate, active dog that needs an equally loving and active family to meet his emotional and physical needs.   If you would like to make this amazing guy part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Atlas is located in Alabama and available for transport. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.

Story
Hello Biggie Paws friends! Please meet Lobo! Lobo means wolf in Spanish. Unlike the wolf …this Lobo always makes his adorable presence known! He seems to think he is bigger than he actually is. 🤭 Lobo has personality! Look how dapper he is in his bow tie! He has such a sweet nature despite the cruelty of a prior owner cutting his ears. 😞 Lobo is approximately 3 months old and 20 pounds. We believe he may be a mix of Catahoula Leopard. He loves people …especially respectful kids. A few of his favorite activities are socializing at youth baseball games, exploring and playing with other dogs. He enjoys having other dogs around …but still knows how to have fun on his own. He may be ok with cats too …he just hasn’t had exposure. Lobo also likes his squeaky soft toys, rope toys and nylabone. As a puppy, he is still learning …but he is super smart and catches on to things very quick. He knows “sit”, “gentle” and is familiar with “no”. He also recently learned how to go up and down stairs!Lobo is mostly potty trained. He is also working on leash and crate training. He is initially guarded with other dogs on leash but plays nicely once introduced. He has good recall but since he likes to explore, a fenced in yard might be best. He’s the perfect mixture of fun and leisure and will be happy to join you as your cuddle puppy at night. He loves to snuggle when the time is right. Oh and let’s not forget a good ‘ol tummy rub! He’s currently being fostered in Fort Atkinson, WI. His adoption fee is $500 plus a $100 deposit. The $100 deposit will be refunded once proof of timely neuter is given to Biggie Paws. Please apply to adopt Lobo at: https://biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550
